Yeah well if it's being promoted like hell by the official swiss watchdog or whatever it seems pretty legit doesn't it. Rican was shouting his ass off for it, felt like it was needed ASAP and since it was someone who I actually trusted (at the time) I didn't hesitate. That was the case with me, I'm sure others had similar reasons.

Spent 60 mill damage on the battle thinking it was official and the diplomacy fell through. SMH so mad at myself right now. Mad at giving in to Rican's spam. Misled by Rican of all people, damn. Honestly people don't want our input nor ideas. I don't feel welcome around here anymore. We tried our best to settle in and be appreciative of the situation at hand, to be helpful with everything and to integrate with its society.

They just don't want us anymore, that's what we get for helping them settle the issue with the PTO. Let them just have their way, let the 10 year old real life Swiss run this place. Let them have their endless RW-s with Slovenia and never have a permanent homeground to settle in or atleast not in any original parts. Even with the game mechanics changing, you will still have to struggle with Slovenia this way. Dill administration was only trying to help you guys in the long term with a permanent peaceful solution (and was closer to settling it than any other ones in months), and y'all threw that out of the window just because of a little war. Guess what! Months of wars will get boring really fast. You win a region and you lose it right after since all the gunpower went in the first battle. We've been there, haven't we learned anything guys? Peaceful solution would be the only realistic choice with a long term outlook, but hey....if it's war you guys want then that's what you get. I just don't want to have any parts of it anymore. Shame on me for actually believing. I'm out.

Having been here for more than half a year. Having done more damage for this country than for any other country out there. I honestly would stop with this politically correct humility. Honestly I've felt or at least wanted to feel this to be my home also. I think after being here for a while and putting in an effort with help I have a right to call this home and be part of it as anyone else. Honestly at this point in this game, who the hell gives two shits about in which country you started at? Certainly not Plato (hence the updates). Nor I. It doesn't really give you any exclusive rights anyway. So no it's not just "their sandbox". But honestly I've had enough of trying to approach this with political correctness and with humility...I think we deserve to be treated equal after we've done our best to integrate with their society and play by their rules.

I was the first swiss cp to create an agreement with slovenia.
we honored our end of it but as soon as there was a new CP in Slov the following month... they pissed on it.

I'm with Cache. They openly told us to leave just a few days ago. I am prepared to take them up on their offer. I foresee an alliance with Slovenia in the near future in any case. Honestly, it doesn't really matter to me where I live or which picture of a flag is next to my name since countries in eRepublik are f-in meaningless.

The Government disagreed with the President because the Slovenian Government made an agreement in which Switzerland must pay its freedom and in which Switzerland wasn't owner of its regions, but occupier of Slovenian regions. It was an insult to me as a Swiss citizen. Government members offered changes but the President said that Slovenia hates us and that the only way we can sign something is to accept the agreement we got now.

Since Slovenia hates us and doesn't want to give us our regions back without humiliating us, I see no way for a diplomatic solution right now and that's why I made as much damage as I was able to make today at the battlefield.

You never offered anything to me to take to a negotiation. You started yelling NO! immediately. No discussion, no debate, nothing to take to Slove. You don't hear my words so I tell you what you want to hear, Slovenia hates you.

I didn't offer anything because I saw what Slovenia was trying to do and when you said you will do the right thing without my opinion, why should I offer anything to the negotiation process? Slovenia doesn't want to have a peaceful agreement with us without humiliating us in the process. I don't want to pay them anything, no Swiss citizen wants to pay them for "renting SI and Graubunden". No.

Well Uros, you just paid dearly to humiliate yourself. Billions in damage spent on that campaign and we got our asses kicked. There was no hope for success with such a small multiplier. Diplomacy was the most cost effective option for us to get some of our regions back. But now that probably isn't possible anymore.

Diplomacy is possible, Slove is exercising "diplomacy" as we speak.

We do not have the military power to hold our regions. The multiplier was not high enough yet under these new rules to be able to successfully RW any of our regions. I wish people would start using their heads around here instead of just absentmindedly clicking their mouse as fast as they can.

Yes and the day after they'll come and conquer the region again (making the determination counter start from scratch). Leaving you all still without a congress possibly...probably (if they play the timing right). In the end result there will just be a bunch of petty wars that sooner or later everyone will get tired off, since there isn't an outcome just a rather quick back and forth with regions. Then once people get tired of it, everyone will again want to try the diplomatic route. Then everyone will be surprised again that Slovenia doesn't want to do an agreement and Slovenia will once again seem as the bully. Rinse and repeat. Wouldn't it have been kind of good to live in a peaceful place for once and be situated in Europe not in fucking Canada (sorry mountaineer bros).

I would've liked to see the agreement route tried once again, seeing as how many fails on the war front we've had lately. It would've been about time to give peaceful negotiations some real chance once again and to get over the fear of breaking agreements. IDK but what do I a non-Swiss know anything about that right?

Actually, the determination counter does not start from scratch after a successful RW. That was stated in one of Plato's updates. Which is why it would never make sense for us to initiate an RW when the multiplier was so low.

Then get on it Hoss. This could have been the result if we had played along a bit and won the trust of Slovenians. Maybe you can just continue to RW. Do it again, it might work next time.

Rican is an ass. His moves in the past are the reason why Slovenia didn't sign an agreement with Switzerland. This month he was gone and now he's back to cause shit again.

This isn't my first rodeo bud. You've gone back on all agreements we've had in the past, even remotely pretending an agreement with you has any value is pointless, because in the end you'll follow threw with it for a very short time then break it, and try to justify it with a stupid reason. We are better off having fun fighting then trusting you will follow threw with an agreement for more then 2 weeks.

I am not SmoothZiga who is against any kind of agreement with Switzerland. If I was, do you think I'd be open to any kind of an agreement with you. Any sort of a deal would suit both sides, but no, let's spend hundreds of golds and be stupid.

If any of you are truly interested in diplomacy, peace, reasonable compromise, and settling differences, you will put aside your differences and work toward a mutually beneficial agreement. I have seen a lot of promise in Howly and Dill's agreement, which wasn't finished being working on before this RW fiasco. I don't care whose fault the RW was, it was in the past, now we look toward the future.eSwitzerland and eSlovenia are both very proud countries, and that is to their undoing.

Let reason take hold, be rational, put aside hatred and spite and learn from your mistakes. There is a solution to this problem, we can agree, we have done it in the past, we can do it in the future.

Trogdor, if anyone can fix this now it is you. There is nothing left to be said on my part. Congress members have at best ignored me, at worst told me I'm and idiot. You need to get a proposal out of them and approach Slove. This will probably not stop the wipe but there still may be enough Slovenians who will listen to give it a chance.
