Surprise presidential endorsement

When deciding who I would vote for in the president election, I looked at three traits I felt were important in the next president and tried to see if I have seen them in the past in each canadites. First is intelligence, do they understand the game mechanisms and how all the government agency work. Second is vision, do they have a plan to make this game more interesting and fun. Third is leadership style and more specifically do they have the persuasive skills to bring a group of people together to work for a common purpose.

SNAKE- I joined the party he founded when I started to play this game. He was one of the first people I added to my friends list. When I was PP of the IFP I endorsed Snake to run for president twice and tried to help him get elected. I have found snake to be extremely honest, and intelligent. At times I questioned his activity but he has been one of the most active players in the game recently. The funny thing about snake is I think he was a shit Congressman and PP but would be a good country president. I think part of the reason for this is he has been around so long that a lot of aspects of this game get boring for him. One thing I worry about snake is he is good at pointing out problems but have not seen him solve very many. I also have not liked how he has kind of taken over for John Smith recently, would have liked to see him help of support john then to take over. The one thing that worries me if he took over is could he surround himself with a good team and empower them to get the job done. Dub was smart but could not work well with others. Will others work well with snake? Will snake try to micromanage things?

PATTON- I was born in this game right before Patton became president. I have to say I always thought he did a good job running the country when he was in charge. He is a great communicator. I think he also surrounds himself with good people and empowers them which made him very effective. Based on his years of experience he has a good understanding of the game but does sometimes get things wrong ( I moved to NI when he put out an article). I think the one skill he has more so then the other canadites is an ability to bring people together to work on a common plan. This is what this country needs now. What the plan will be is still in the air but am looking forward to his finial manifesto.

I think the country will be in good hands with either of them but surprisingly I will be voting for Patton in this coming election and have offered my help to him if he wins. It is time to stop partisanship and choose the best person for the job.
