Greetings and Salutations, My Fellow Americans
Hi, I'm Jude Connors - you may know me as the man who made eNPR substantial in its heyday as well as an internet DJ and the Station Manager of RadioStar.FM. Today, however, I am here to alert you all about a threat to democracy that... once again... involved the American Bourgeois Class of aristocratic elites and their fear of losing the power in eAmerica that they have amassed... and once again concerning the newest Community destroying implementation of Plato - the Dictator module.
You see, eAmerica... Wooky Jack - the Presidential candidate who has brought a flurry of activity into the community since announcing his campaign for Country President - recently announced that if he is elected, he is NOT become Dictator of eUSA. Wooky instead insists that instead of wimping out behind an unpopular and ill-conceived module... the eUSA can AND WILL be able to defend the Homeland the old fashioned way... by beating those who seek to enslave us on the battlefield. Simply put, He don't need a dictatorship, He has AMERICANS!
In his article, Dictatorship For America, Gnilraps... one of the eUSA's biggest whales... a man who has a Diamond eRepublik VISA credit card... specifically threatens to use his substantial resources and support to lead the revolution against a rogue WJ presidency. Wait... a rogue WJ presidency?!?! Riddle me this, Gnillie... how is the man specifically elected by the (as you put it) "will of America" a rogue President?
You see, eAmerica... no matter ho wmany times it is denied... no matter how many times I am called crazy... no matter how many times I am compared to Ajay for standing fast against them... there is a power cabal of a small circle of Americans... most from USWP and the Feds... that have held power in eUSA for years... AND THEY DON'T PLAN TO GIVE IT UP FOR ANYTHING!!! Even now, as more people come out and oppose them, they fight to hold power, even threatening to undermine the American sense of democracy.
Join with Wooky Jack in the Revolution of the eUSA Community! Show Gnilraps and his cronies that we are an America and we believe that our democracy is worth fighting for! Tomorrow... VOTE WOOKY JACK FOR COUNTRY PRESIDENT!!!

What happened to Campaigning?
They would never let go of power, willingly. Fortunately, we predicted this and already had a plan in place.
This also isn't the first time Gnilraps has threatened to circumvent his own "Laws".
Although Gnilraps is really just playing the same game everyone else is. If you didn't have opposition, what fun would the struggle be? He's done a lot of good for the country over the years. I'd think of his challenge as giving the opposition someone and something to oppose, and be thankful for it.
It's the playing, the struggle, that is the fun of the game. Build it up, knock it down. Rebuild it.
If you guys can keep up the struggle, ANY struggle, I'd look forward to playing again.
Be it Gnil or anyone else, thank GOD someone is fighting someone!!!!!

The dictatorship model was the most innovative thing I have seen this game unleash on the community, ever. I would believe most people would admit its not a preferable way to run our country, but it was made to work, and very well by eUSA's politicians. It has not been fair at times, but life is not fair. In the end having a dictator protects eUSA from getting hosed by foreign hostiles. We saw this happen in eSpain.

What happened to eSpain, anyway? I thought that eUS wiped them and returned the regions.
eSpain was MTO'd and bankrupted by a corrupt Dictator.

Upon further reflection I decided having a babysitter is no fun and that we should work with Congress to go back to a Democratic system instead of keeping a Democratic Dictatorship. It gives people more things to do.
