Something about BH Medals. Regarding my 100th SS Medal :D
Srbijanac90
These days everybody wants to win a BH medal. For all players shiny BH medals on their profiles are matter of prestige but for stronger players they are also the way of earning gold for full booster training every day.
So, we are all BH hunters. Still, there are some major differences between BH hunters.
There are BH hunters who fight in MPP battles (usually very high dmg needed) and BH hunters who fight in RW's. And there are also two subtypes of BH hunters from RW's: those who fight from the beginning of the turn and those who are trying to steal the BH medal from "current holders" after they already made high damage in the battle. BH stealers usually fight in last minutes of the round.
Strong players with high military rank usually hunt their BH medals from the beginning of the round and BH stealers are usually weaker players who fight with bazookas.
And as you already know, the biggest antagonism is right between these two types of BH hunters. And it is quite logical because the first ones fight from the beginning of the round, use all their food fights (FF) in that battle, monitor the battle for hour and a half... and on the other hand BH stealers think is just OK to come 5 to 10 minutes before the end of turn and steal the BH medal.
And who is more successful when they cross the spears? Well that depends on how much you want that medal, how much damage you have in reserve and above all how much do you hate when somebody tries to steal your BH.
But however this clash ends every time somebody must be a loser. And that wouldn't happen if players would respect each others.
Not surprising therefore that many players put warning messages to BH stealers on their profiles:
If we would all respect others and fight from the beginning of the round we would avoid many unpleasant and harmful situations.
Many times these misunderstandings are result of eYoung players ignorance about this subject. For them I will give few advices how to catch BH medals:
1. Be able to make at least 1M dmg before you go for BH medal.
2. Choose unimportant RW. If you are not sure ask someone.
3. Fight from the first seconds of the round. In that way when other hunters see you hitting with bazooka they will withdraw. *
4. Make at least 800k at the beginning of round.
5. Stay online till the battle ends.
* Only problem you can have if two players start to fight with bazookas at the same time. It is probably then that nobody will retreat.
Just one advice for older (stronger) players:
After you used your first 100 well stop for a few seconds, refresh the battle and see if somebody even stronger is fighting from the beginning as well. That gives you time to withdraw at time, wait one hour that your health is restored and try to catch BH again in some other battle.

Great article, great points.
Thing is, many of those "anti-BH stealers" warnings are, actually, empty threats. :/ With that aside, I agree on everything else.
Good hunting, big vote!
Firstly, no one owns the BH until such time the battle is over. Therefore, to an extent, there is no such thing as BH stealing. However.......
I would point out that the above points in the article applies a little bit more towards the lower divisions. By the time you are division 3, you should be doing more than 10k of damage per 10 energy - hence bazookas are largely redundant except when going for merc medials (since you'd rather do the 25 kills in 250 health as the damage isn't as important).
I think you have to be hesitant to brand anyone who drops a ton of damage late on as BH stealers - most people have only a window of opportunity in which to play the game and whether or not the battle is at the beginning or end stage is a matter of luck. Not everyone has the time to wait until the next battle. The only time you can categorically say someone has stolen a BH is the situations where you are winning and then in the last couple of seconds, the second place person drops a Big Bomb (5 million damage in division 3) to jump you before you can react.
And then you have the issue of what level constitutes a level where it is immoral to try and "steal" the BH. In division 3, I have been accused a few times by people who had *only* done about 10-12 million damage. This morning when I won a couple of BHs, I dropped 17.5 million and 16 million of damage respectively. These numbers are not unusual amounts I would need to drop (at least from the times I log in). Hence, in light of the damage I did drop, is 10 million damage a reasonable "BH winning" figure? If you are someone who has recently promoted to division 3, 10 million of damage is a lot and will probably involve usage of energy bars. For someone like me who is closer to being promoted to division 4, I can easily do 10-14 million of damage without usage of EBs.
The other thing is, it is difficult from the screenshots to be certain BH stealing has taken place. Sure, there have been close battles between the top two fighters, but it is hard to judge that a real late charge has taken place. Without knowing the nature of the battle it is hard to judge why the level of damage was done. For example, was the battle a heavily fought one in general and the two players where fighting to win the battle and not entirely for the BH medal? I know from experience that I have been fighting for the eUK in a battle where the bar had been yo-yoing back and forth between the eUK winning and losing on a minute by minute basis and in trying to win the battle, I have overtaken someone else (usually a non-eUK citizen) who believes I have late stolen their medal.
(I have on occassions acted as if I planned to steal a medal in order to trick the person in first place to start fighting again (for eUK battles). In such cases, I don't think I can do enough damage to fully move the bar myself but if I can get the top person to also fight, the individual battle can be won. If the other person doesn't bite, I just save my damage)
Oh, and I often ignore the "Don't steal my BH" comments on the odd occassion I actually bother to see if the top placed person is online. If you really cared about stealing a BH, you'd look at the other person's strength and see if you have an inherent strength advantage.
I'm not defending BH stealers, but I know from experience it is easy to be accused of it when your motivation really wasn't. I suspect that the longer you play the game, the increasingly lightly you will be accused of it yourself - especially once you become one of the strongest players in your division. And sadly, if someone is able to "steal" your BH, it simply means you have not done enough damage in the first place.
Great read!
