Running for PP in WTP

I wanted to start this article with a congratulations to Henry Arundel for beating Hanibal/Ajay/CGbot in the Unity elections yesterday. To Hanibal/Ajay/CGbot:



Now, down to business. I am announcing my candidacy for Party President of the We The People party. For some time now, WTP has been kind of a dead party, a placeholder if you will. I have had many players tell they wish to stay, and be productive members for this party. I want to make that happen.

I plan on keeping this party a top five party, conducting membership drives and talking to some sixth parties about joining our ranks. I see the awful changes to the political module that have pretty much made sixth parties irrelevant. I want them to have a voice just as much as our party members have and will continue to have.

I want to construct a lasting infrastructure for this party, so it may operate with the fluidity that a top 5 party should. Inter-Party relations, Communications, Election Management, and Media. There will be positions open in all these departments, so if you wish to participate, contact me.

I want to make this party about YOU. We will construct a set of party rules based on player input. We will produce party legislation that will reflect the way all of us want this party run. I will increase the level of activity on our forums to make this possible. This will be a big month, so request access and make your voice heard.

I plan on organizing contests and game nights that offer prizes for members. I also want to look into setting up a charity of sorts, where we can offer supplies to new players, help them out until they find their way. Lastly, our Media department will be tasked with getting tutorials published, for new players...both in public and on the forums. New players need direction and instruction, WTP can offer that.

I will have more articles coming out in the next few days, all the way up till voting ends in our primary. As I said before, get on the forums and participate, nominations are going on right now.
