Revolution: War of the Thorns

Day 2,686, 14:59 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gego Gugula

UK's favourite bogeyman BigAntDanMoir has resurfaced after some obscurity. The last time we saw his back it was in a cloud of accusations of theft and following weeks of directed immigration to support his bid for power.

He returns with the promise of bitter-sweet Democracy.

This month has been dominated by the dubious manner in which our WayneKerr became dictator to pre-emptively save us from foreign dominion. He then refused to hand over the reigns to President Huey George after we finally figured out how we want this to work as the free British people. We shuffled uncertainly. We haggled. We had a referendum. And in swoops our would be saviour.

The UK rightly has reservations. If we support BigAnt (now DanMoir) then some feel its a nod. If we support him, we pragmatically also get a fair shake our missing taxes back. You see, we were going to have a revolution anyway (see Referendum). Why pay twice? Except... its BigAnt... who changed his name as the comments came in...

What do we lose? BigAnt earns a bling medal as a liberator of the UK and some Gold. We get our Democracy and taxes back. Do we care? Yes we do. We have pride. Is this a set up for a coup led by BigAnt and some Serbian foreigners? Really hard to tell or dismiss entirely.

We are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Either swallow your pride and act pragmatically, or stick to your guns and resist for a revolution of our own choosing. Is revolution led by BigAnt worth more than another week of dictatorship under WayneKerr? I fear that there is no right answer.

Instead, forge our own path clear of personalities. Liberate the UK now, decide on the CP or King or none as dictator later.

Tick-tock. Time to decide.
