One of the things that has become more and more noticeable recently has been the lack of respect and decency between members of our nation. Mostly this lack of deceny is in the form of assaults on peoples characters. I am not going to name names at all because there has been so much of this going on that I believe there should be more focus on it.

Why?

Because this is the plague that has been destroying and eating away at the foundations of our union.

Our eNation is built upon different "political" beliefs on the manner in which the country is run. People have differences of opinion and these discussions can get heated up. However the point at which these discussions stop being discussions are the assault on the person directly.

Judge the peoples actions and not the person, is basically what I am trying to get at.

When you are in a discussion and you think holy cow his guy is an idiot... theres no reason to post that. Just argue why you believe his reasoning is wrong. We do not all see certain facts in the same viewpoint. Besides discussion is good. a heated discussion even better. This shows that there is passion in the country. But there are times that passion gets the better of us!

So therefore I would urge all citizens to act respectfully.Compliment each other on a job well done and for that persons time and effort that has gone into it. Sure we can all make mistakes it just part of the learning cycle! Besides at the end of the day we should all still be able to laugh at a joke despite our beliefs.

These are the building blocks of the union. With a corrupted foundation we will go nowhere.
