Pride in being eAmerican

Day 2,165, 09:26 Published in USA USA by Syz2

When I joined this game, I naturally chose my real-life nation. I didn't know what I should expect. I didn't know if it would be similar to the real USA or not. The eUSA is actually better in a lot of ways. Enough to make me proud of being an eAmerican. Here's some of the reasons why

The eUSA is good at helping New Players

New players are everything in this game. They are the future leaders of the game, and are important in the success of the older players. That's why it gives me pride at how the eUSA is good at helping them.

We have Flight Training, to help them get started in the military, as well as many other independent MUs that have their own new player training programs. Parties are great at helping new players, and I love seeing first time congressman, AMP is bringing a few first timers to the table yet again. We have killer Departments of Education and Interior. It's not only the government helping new players, but each party and military unit that is independent has been great at it too. It gives me pride in this eNation of ours.

The eUSA can come together when we need to

There's a lot of people in the eUSA who will insult you however they can. People aren't afraid to say they hate another player. But when the time comes we have to work together, we somehow manage it.

We've had some problems with PTO. We've had to work hard to overcome these problems. But we've won, because even as divided as we are, we can manage to work together. Take a look at the unity elections, people who hated Pfeiffer voted for him anyway to stop RGR. We've been able to get our military units to work together as well at times. It's no easy feat to get some of these people we have to work together, but we have and we've been more successful as a nation because of it.

We have some awesome people

In my time here, I've met some really great people. It's not easy to see someone here as more than just a player. All the game really encourages you to know about people is how well they write, and how well they can play the game. But if you talk to eAmericans about things besides the game and view them as a person instead of a player, you will find awesome people.

I've found people like emdoublegee to be more of a friend than most of my real-life friends. Some people, saraht0ga and John Killah, even got married after finding each other in this game. People here are more than just players. If you aren't involved in the meta game, you should be, so you can get to know people. Some people actually care about how you are doing in real-life. Sure there are a lot of non-awesome people here, but the real life awesomeness of many of my fellow eAmericans makes me proud to work with them in this game.

These aren't true all of the time. People sometimes don't work well together, might disregard new players, or just might be as bad of a person that they are in game. But on the whole, eUSA can be impressive in how well we work together, be great at helping new players, and care about who people really are as people. If you don't look for these things, you might not see it. But if you are open to people and work with them, you will be surprised at how much people will be open to you and work with you, and help you get where you want to go, and it makes me proud to be an eAmerican.
