Day 1,324 of the New World
"The piano has been drinking, not me."
— Tom Waits
We are living in a new era.

eUSA was conquered, although the pig-disgusting invaders couldn't even hold on long enough for any of us to wake up and see it. Heck, if our Media had ignored the fact, I imagine most people wouldn't even know it happened. It... just... sort of almost never happened.

But it did. For about as long as it takes to watch Gone Baby Gone, we didn't exist.

I've beaten the gong about why I think this happened.

But where do we go from here? How will Post-Wipe eUSA differ?

First, we must humble ourselves long enough to learn a lesson. To fail in this will set us up for worse yet to come. I am not wise enough to diagnose the entire Political Cancer that brought us to nothing. But I am interested enough to hear the dialogue. I intend to facilitate this dialogue starting here.

Second, we must embrace what changes our elected leaders choose. It was a close election, and Blank Keating, et al. will be wise enough to recognize that as many people as voted for him voted for the other guy (sans 15 of you). Leadership will be ineffective that does not recognize a diversity of voices. This in itself will be a wind of change.

Third, while we express ourselves diversely, we must act as one. We all see way too many shouts from citizens directing damage. Shut up. Want to direct damage? Find out from #eUS-War where to fight first. Come on people, if there is one thing we ought to easily agree on, it's to follow the orders of those who are appointed to make them.
