Welcome to the thirtieth edition of Political Hotspot.



Sambo223 won the United Kingdom presidential election with a majority of votes cast. The other main candidate, Frixios of the Clyde, scored twenty-six percent, while the challenger candidate, XLDJ, won sixteen votes, or eight percent of the total.

The BDP saw a surge in it's membership, perhaps in response to the rise of ESO threatening it's place in the top five (BDP is suspected to contain plenty of multis). This surge is threatening the fourth ranked position of WRP, who could end up being pushed out of the top five altogether if the membership of ESO continues to rise. On the other hand, the WRP has experienced similar scares in the past, and managed to keep it's position, so it is to be expected that it will pull through this time as well.
