Fellow Irishmen,

It’s with great pleasure that I announce my candidacy for Taoiseach of Ireland. I have already been president of this country twice and have quite a few successes under my belt. I have also been the Vice president for the last 2 months, and so I can safely say I've been kept in the loop and know exactly what is going on in this country

Military

As a result of our robust army, Ireland is thankfully not in any active wars. This is perfect as many of our allies are in need of help and we will no longer be acting as a drain taking away vital damage from our allies. I hope this peace can stay. After the bloody and brutal war with eUK that last well over a year, it is nice to be focusing on our allies for a change.
We all knew that TEDEN dominance was not going to be an eternal constant. The tide has definitely turned in favour of ONE who has been more dominant on the battlefield as of late. The plans Poland and Hungary to head towards the USA to get rid of the 100% bonus’s on food and weapons they have are a threat we will have to confront. Ireland desperately needs this bonus as most of the people with weapons companies for communes are located in the United States. We must to defend these bonuses at all costs! If Ireland does come under any threat from any ONE nation, I am confident that my team and I have the experience and expertise to fight off any attack and defend the soil of our beloved nation.

Foreign Affairs

After all the issues brought on by the Bulgaria-Turkey conflict, Irelands position in EDEN is once strong. Rest assured that we will do our utmost to keep it that way so that when Ireland speaks, EDEN listens and acts accordingly. Fortunately, we are back on good terms with everyone in the alliance. Over the last month we’ve also strengthened our bonds with friendly countries such as Bosnia i Herzegovina and Portugal. We can only hope that our relationships will flourish and prosper as we head into the next presidential term. We will also be renewing all current MPPS and doing our utmost to maintain Ireland’s great reputation around the world.

Community

Now I know some people have been complaining that there's only active in the ICA channels and nowhere else. This is a problem we have to confront. To start, I really want to get our forums to the point where we can say, with certainty, that they are actually active. Most countries have very active forums and have a lot of fun on them. Is there any reason the Irish shouldn't?. We need to improve all areas on the forum from general discussion to getting more congressmen to take part in active discussion. This will, in my opinion, help to better our country.

I would also like to write at least 1-2 articles a week so as to keep the country informed about what's going on in the country from the small things to the major things (MUs, Diplomatic situation, Wars, MUFC92's girlfriend).



Finance
Obviously Sweet Drinker will be kept in this position and continue to make us a fortune every day :3
