One of the boogieman #1

Day 2,809, 15:02 Published in USA USA by Waffenmeister

Hello dear America, lets have a chat shall we? Let's begin this talk about something that we can all relate to and that is words! Words are powerful thing you know. From melting young lowers heart to annihilating everything that is above the Earth's crust with just an few simple words from the right person. Isnt is so? So about what words shall we talk about? Well it's of course shock words! Everybody loves them, from four year old in kindergarden to a 60-tie year old politician screaming at top of his lungs. And today shock words will be ''SOCIALISM'', ''COMMUNISM'' and a special word that you dont hear very often and mostly because you probably dont know what it means ''SYNDICALISM''

While I personally think it is silly to make a boogieman out of them, even when being myself a staunch supporter of the capitalistic-socialists society in other words Sweden, I nevertheless feel obligated to teach the new word to those who dont know what it means, and I am not talking about that it is the new boogieman.

In a general way, most people don't know what is " syndicalism ", and to most people of current generation it has fallen off as being one of the leading social-economic thoughts of the late 19th century.

Syndicalism is understood as a revolutionary labor movement, which aims at the abolition of the wage system through "direct action" culminating in the " general strike." What does general strike means? It means total shutdown of infrastructure and industry, while holding it as a hostage by workers who are refusing to work.

Syndicalism is guided by the vision of a new society, in which the management of socialized industry will be in the hands of the workers. Like communes, or in other words as revolutionary industrial unions, also known as boogie man for the rich. These syndicalist communes, are viewed as a method for workers in capitalist society to gain control of an economy and, with that control, influence broader society.

The basic principles of syndicalism are solidarity, direct action (action undertaken without the intervention of third parties such as politicians, bureaucrats and arbitrators) and direct democracy, or workers' self-management.

The end goal of syndicalism is to abolish the wage system, regarding it as wage slavery. Syndicalist theory therefore generally focuses on the labor movement.

Syndicalism is still relevant in countries, where it took its roots- Spain and France.

Syndicalists view the primary purpose of the state as being the defence of private property, and therefore of economic, social and political privilege, denying most of its denizens the ability to enjoy material independence and the social autonomy which springs from it.

In contrast with other similar bodies of thought, particularly with communism, syndicalists deny that there can be any kind of workers' state. They believe that any state with the intention of empowering the workers will inevitably work to empower itself or the existing elite at the expense of the workers. This is what happened to Soviet Union, where social revolution was turned slowly into an oligarchic victory.

I have given you, my dear America, some information of this social-economic construct, and I will leave it there. I hope you were able to make some of your own opinion of it.

So this brings us to the conclusion of this article. Why did I make? Who knows. Maybe I did feel obliged to teach something in the spirit of the theme of my party , or maybe I just dindnt know what else to write. Who knows, but till then stay safe America, and make sure to not let the boogieman catch you.
