Hi kids!

Well my MU is settling in and finding things to do. Jason Welsh & Howard Tha Duck are prowling about (or is it 'aboot') Congress. Many have poked the ever present Fight Button. Yours truly has been PM'ing, commenting and generally smoosing (maybe s-moose-ing) around. I have to face reality, can't help but nose around the political crap.




Pickle's Training Regiment

Soon it will be time to set up shop and show off our newly refurbished Training Regiment. Don't be alarmed, REMAIN CALM, we're not here to steal anyone's business. The recruits will be PM'ed as they join the game. They will be asked to join our MU for training and then, when ready, will be given the option to join ANY MU. We just like helping people get started right in eRep. It's been a long time since we've done this on any large scale. Mostly been working with friends and relatives of existing members.

The goal is a stronger Canada. We want to show people how to build the best citizen in game, but remembering that not everyone wants to play the same way. We will encourage the "Don't fight, don't level up!" strategy as long as that falls in line with how someone wants to play. Of course nothing works good in eRep without "stuff" so we will include how to make the most free / cheep gold and being self sufficient in your food supply.

One last push is needed (a factory upgrade discount, c'mon Plato) to get our training commune from Q5 to Q7. Right now we have room in two of our three existing Q7's but it would be nice if the Traing CO Lansizzle could gather the flock under his wing. I'm confident we will get this done soon enough.

OK, I'll be good (for now). I wanted to put down my thoughts of the top candidates for CP. I'm new here so if I get something wrong be sure to throw it up in my face, ridicule me and make me look like an idiot. It's in this way that I will come to feel at home in Canada.

Cypher Rahl

The most unfamiliar candidate to me. I did read his article and found it very balanced and informative. Along with the ability to write a Wall of Text Cypher seems to have the ability to morph into whichever candidate you prefer. In this way no one has to make a choice, just vote Cypher, he's all things to all people.

Rylde

Loud, brash and to the point. Good qualities for a fighting man but not so much for FA. Good thing he brings along some peeps to do the talking. He lists Klop123 as MoFA in The Team. A good choice in my opinion. FWIW I'm going with Rylde.

TheSmoke

Smooth talker that has a plan. I know him from dealing with the Swiss rental of Alberta (I was Swiss CP at the time). He also lists Klop as MoFA, along with some others I'm learning to respect, in his cabinet article.




The Finish Line

All in all everyone at Pickle's is enjoying Canada so far. Kind of went sideways when the alliance shakeup put us on the wrong side of some friends. But hey, this is a lot more interesting than Swiss boredom being continuously swatted and the US humdrum that is typical "do as you're told or else" politics.
