Newsflash: The Dutch-German war

Day 2,758, 00:37 Published in Netherlands Germany by BaronVanZon

With the last resistance war ending somewhere last night, The Netherlands was liberated from German occupation again. Head-stubbornly and with the aid of allies, the Dutch fought themselves back to freedom. As the sound of battle and party slowly fades away, Het Parool asks the question we all wonder about: 'what will happen next?'

I ask NoTie, our president, for a quick reaction, the morning after.

Mister president, what keeps them from attacking us again and retaking at least the NNL?

I don't know their intentions, nor can I forecast how they will change or what actions they will take. I do however think the latest events have reminded the Germans the strength of our nation and that any attempt to hold us down won't be worth it and will be exhausting. I hope it will restore the thought of our German neighbors about their previous allies, as they become misinformed, to the point of being delusional, about our nation and its to be respected integrity.

Are there any diplomatic peace-talks going on ? Has some sort of official agreement been struck?

As the Germans have completely refused any diplomatic contact ever since their outrageous and trolling treaty a few weeks ago, there are no peace-talks going on. In fact, the Germans have bluntly ignored any messages by the current government. Perhaps the current situation will rectify this, but that remains to be seen. As there is no diplomatic contact at all, there is no official agreement either.

Thank you for this quick reaction. Come what may, we have shown we are able to fight back when we have to and we will continue to do so in the future.

Signed,

Baron Van Zon
