New Presidential Libraries Revealed!

Day 2,039, 14:54 Published in USA USA by Israel Stevens

I know there are a lot of people in the United States community that for whatever reason, have chosen to avoid our National Forums, and that’s fine. That’s not what I’m writing about.

Over the course the of past week, many of the Presidential Daily Briefings(PDBs) have been declassified. You can read what most of the Presidents from last year did during their term. Below is a list of the newly public archives, and some of the notable things that happened during their terms.

Cerb’s 2nd Presidential Library - November 2012
War with Chile, Bro pacts and the first steps towards CoT.

Inwegen’s Presidential Library - December 2012
Major foreign policy shift towards CoT, as well as the short lived SPQR.

Fingerguns’ Presidential Library - January 2013
Formal application to CoT, invasion of Taiwan and attempted liberation of Japan and South Korea.

John Killah’s Presidential Library - February 2013
Stagnant war in Taiwan, trouble with CoT and Congress.

The forum also holds the public records of all Presidents dating back to Josh Frost’s final term in December 2010. You can view them all on this board.

What has been redacted?
Emails, phone numbers, facebook profiles, etc. Basically, just personal information. A lot of the cabinet text each other to communicate and their phone numbers and email have been removed to protect their privacy.

What is a President’s Daily Briefing?
This is where the cabinet posts every day. Each new day, is a new thread. You will see discussions on everything from alliances and wars, to elections and new player programs. Marching orders from the President, updates from Secretaries, advice from the stable of advisors that each President employs. The PDB covers everything that the President is responsible for.

Why should I bother reading these?
This is a great way to learn the history of the country. You can literally pick any day in history, and read what happened during that day. Important articles, battles, elections, it’s all listed and talked about. Or if you are interested in learning how the country is run, and what each Secretary does during the course of a normal day, you can read it here.
This is also a great way to learn about what the Presidents are really like. Some of them are drastically different in private than they are in public, or have a set of preconceived ideas surrounding them that aren’t necessarily true.

This is awesome! I want to see some commentary on these terms!
Well, you are in luck. There are also discussion threads for each of the libraries. They can be found here:

Inwegen Discussion Thread
Fingerguns Discussion Thread
John Killah Discussion Thread

Enjoy the read!
