Nerfing the Maverick

I see a lot of negativity about this pack. Was it a mistake? Perhaps it seems to cause a lot of stress in certain players.

For others it would open up more fighting for them.

Pros and Cons. So much like any new law in real life. Not much lobbying for it on the pro side but certainly massive lobbying against it.

The shimmering hours

In The West I discussed an idea that would be called the shimmering hours. During the day reality would begin to fade away and all worlds would be able to compete against each other and transcend to other worlds. Call fort fights and fight other players from these world. And work in their mines etc.

These hours would be a short timespan during the day and for sake of fairness one would base it on the GMT timeslot a player chose. Say from 7 PM to 10 PM each night.

After 10 the worlds split and reality gets to normal strength again.

That would be 1 way to nerf the effect.

Open versus close rewards.

The second way we could nerf this would be to introduce a 2 reward system the open versus the closed class. In open class all players compete against each other. Any division can fight against any other division.

The closed class would entail a per division reward. Here only players of the division can win rewards.

To not make this ridiculous the open class would reward 5 gold always nonetheless division the closed class the normal gold it does give now.

A player would only be able to win 1 reward in a battle. if a division 2 player wins the open class the closed class reward goes to the second placed player from that class.
