My Proposal for eAustria

Day 1,306, 19:02 Published in Austria Austria by Ludoviko la Nepreparita

Hello citizens of eAustria. Today, I address you not as the Director of Embassies or as any member of our government but as a fellow citizen with an idea.

Some of you might be aware of this idea already, as I posted it a few months ago on eAustria's forum. If you haven't seen the thread yet, please feel free to go comment. I will link you to it here. However, I realise not all of us are able to make it to the forum as we might have other things to attend to. So I thought I would share my idea once more here.

Some of you might have noticed that the eUK has a program where ever so often they elect a monarch of eUK and he/she serves a term. They don't have any power the title is ceremonial and they use it alot to inspire morale for war orders posters and so forth. It also is a fun social interaction and activity that their government runs for the citizens.

My suggestion is this, I believe since we are such a small nation, that we should form something similar to this through the political and social directorates (maybe more will work in conjunction). My idea is totally up for alteration or rejection.

In my idea, the eAustrian monarch (Kaiser(in)von Österreich/ Emperor(ess) of Austria) would be elected by the general public much like how we elect congressmen and the president. He/she would not have any real political power but would serve as a symbol of our nation. He/she could take an active role in helping the rest of the government if their jobs or tasks were approved by the president/director/or so on. Also, since we are a small nation, we might be able to use this to help draw in immigrants. The celebration of the eAustrian Monarch week (or celebration in general) could have a list of different things like contests where the winner can win a prize or something or other, or debates (both funny and serious) between candidates.

I personally believe this will have a positive effect on our country, however I am only one citizen and cannot decide what we do. What do you think?

Thank you so much for your time, I hope that you will consider my suggestion and get involved in the happening of this great nation.
