My Opinions: Shut up and take them!

Day 2,948, 18:28 Published in USA USA by ResouIa

eUSA has many vibrant parties and I've had plenty of interactions with the current T6 parties' members including some of their most prominent members. This article is going to be a collection of my opinions on those parties and their most prominent members that I have had the pleasure of interacting with on a common basis at some point in time. The segments will be arranged by current T6 member count at time of writing. Each party will have a historical and a current prominent character except WTP, you'll see why.

1. Federalist Party
2. United States Workers Party
3. Socialist Freedom Party
4. We The People
5. The Black Sheep Party
6. American Military Party

The Federalist Party. The only major eUS party where I've seen a 100% shift in politics depending on who wins the PP elections. Not the only major party with a fully-democratic system of leadership, but one of the only ones that has such a variety in its member base that you can actually see that democracy being pivotal in deciding the role of the party in internal politics on a constant basis. If parties in eUSA were rated on quality then these guys belong in the top 3. I have met a good amount of people in this party but for now we will be talking about the most prominent 2 that are currently in the Feds that I have interacted with commonly.

Aramec is one of my favorite folks that is consistently on the opposite side of every debate as me. Aramec was the first person to trust me with a government secretary position (Secretary of Media). He ran an amazing presidential term filled with media excitement, my favorite kind of excitement in this game. He is the current PP of the Feds and is a personality I don't think I will ever truly dislike, regardless of our differences in opinion.

Tyler Bubblar isn't someone I've been able to speak with too often anymore but he has had a good impact on my eLife whether he knows it or not. He was the first person to assign me to any government position ever. It was Deputy Secretary of Media, and it set the path for the position Aramec gave me, in my opinion. He gave the party which I help lead one of the most exciting primaries I have ever seen in his race to beat BeachBunny for CP. He helped BSP lower taxes around the time I joined the game, which was a vote I also supported. I haven't always agreed with him, but I do respect him as a person and maybe if I were a Fed, he'd likely be one of my better friends.

Federalist Party. Truly a party of king makers.

Ok let's be honest. There is no party in eUSA whose beliefs oppose me more than the USWP. I am anti-dictator, I am pro moderate work tax, and I am a black sheep. All three of those things are what a majority of USWPers, especially their current PP hate. But there are some people in that party which I have come to like, despite their place among the "enemy".

I've never known much about A^2 other than that he always has cap locks on. But recently I've gotten to serve two very productive terms with him as my dSoM. He was one of my favorite persons on the team and one of the most productive. Today I am serving as Co-National Security Chairman with him and its nice as always to work with such a respectful, contributive, and great personality.

Now lets get one thing straight. I don't like SColbert by any stretch of the term "like". He is 100% of the time on the other side of the fence as I am. But there are some things about him that I do have the utmost respect for. He is consistent. Never contradicting his words. Whether I respect his opinion or not, he sticks to his beliefs in every way possible (Perhaps he hasn't always supported them in the most "clean" ways. Just like A^2, this man reeks of productivity. No matter the means, he finds his desired end. I served as dSoM under him in the past and have arranged a deal with him during my first time as PP. The man is always true to his word and is clearly reliable when it is in his best interest.

United States Workers Party. I may not like them, but they can sure get things done.

The Socialist Freedom Party. I wrote a whole article about their shenanigans a few months ago when Jaden became PP and tried to take them down a road that a majority of them have shown time and time again they want no part of. I've had friends in this party starting a few months after my joining of eRepublik. I've worked together with many of them and watched them work their way up to T5. I may be critical of them occasionaly but I have always supported them. They are a second home to me. If I was not a black sheep, then I'd certainly be a socialist. They are one of the craziest looking communities in eUSA. But they are also one of the most tightly-knit ones at that. I've gotten to interact with many of their prominent members, but I'll try to narrow it down to the 2 most prominent at this very moment.

Oh Jude Connors. One of my favorite SFPers. Of late I have not seen eye to eye with him on most political topics, but let me assure you that this is one of the coolest guys I have ever met in eRepublik. He's a very friendly personality, as long as you don't prove yourself easy to troll (then you'll hate him). I have worked with him during every term of my Party Presidency and even before & after that. I have been in skype with him many times whether it be for fun, for Clopoyaur TV, or for his off-site radio show. He has some negative rep, especially on my side of the fence, but I'll always respect this guy. He is truly one of the most intelligent players I have ever met in eRepublik.

Ghost of Tom Joad is a book. He's a story to be explored. Every single thing he says can be quoted and sound epic. He is also who I base my entire image of SFP on. He is the first SFPer I met back when I started the game. Current Party President of SFP, I look forward to seeing what he can accomplish in the situation he has inherited. About 20 of his party members (including himself) blacklisted, I have already offered any support he need from me during his term. He is a role model, a fantastic writer, and a true idealist. Probably my favorite eRep player outside The Black Sheep, I look way up to this man.

Socialist Freedom Party, my second home. These guys are the yang to USWP's yin. These guys make eRepublik a better place.

We The People. Admittedly I have nothing to say about the party itself. I never hear anything about them. I only ever see them during the elections. So I will use a picture to describe them instead.

Compliments of Yui, touting a phrase by dmjohnston, this picture really sums up WTP. It is Oblige's play-land. The only two active meta players of the party I've ever seen remain are Oblige himself and MazzyCat. Everyone else? They left. So finding two prominent people that I've interacted with to talk about was actually impossible.

eRepublik Mod, and the only person in WTP that I actually even know, this is the only prominent member I can tell you my opinion on since all the others left. MazzyCat has always be fun to hang around with in IRC and in skype. I used to talk to her quite often in IRC actually. She certainly isn't a fan of my politics and nor am I of hers. MazzyCat however does remain one of the most fun people to talk to that I can think of on the opposite side of the fence. Truly a fun personality.

We The People. The hottest party to join if you plan on leaving.

Oh The Black Sheep Party. My home since day 1. Holding mostly similar beliefs to me, I am currently a member of their leadership, "The Honor Guard". I have been their Party President three times and have served 14 congressional terms under them. This is my favorite party in the entire eWorld. I love almost everyone in this party and could talk to you for days about them, but I shan't. Instead, lets pull up the two MOST PROMINENT members in this party's politics, and I shall share my opinion on them.

Arrden is someone I actually didn't get to know as early as I got to know the other members of the Honor Guard. The current Party President of TBSP and the most efficient defense deputy I have ever seen. He is a great leader for the party, amazing at trolling on the forums, and one of the wisest players I have ever met in this game.

When I first started this game, I HATED this man. You wanna know why? Because he was better than me at VMA-214's Graze minigame on IRC. Kicked my ass real good. One of my favorite members of the party now though 😛. Party President for 1 year straight, there isn't one right-minded TBSPer that doesn't respect this man. He's one of the friendliest persons I have met in eRepublik, and is a great part of this community.

The Black Sheep Party. Join Today! 😉

The American Military Party. Former T5 Party. The party I was about to join before eShades contacted me and recruited me into BSP. The party that competed with TBSP for T5 and now rests at T6 with 80 something members. Wonder what eLife would be like if I had joined them, I dunno. But a good amount of their prominent members left, so I'll do with what I have.

Anyone who has ever mentioned BeachBunny near me knows my opinion of her from her Presidential campaign and onward, but I always focus on the negatives. For a moment lets just focus on the positives. Beachbunny is an EXTREMELY friendly person. She is into many interesting hobbies and if I hadn't been such an ass to her during her presidential times, I'm sure I'd be playing some videogames with her as the best of friends (I exaggerate). She is a truly entertaining person to speak with and I'm sure would make an amazing friend to anyone she mutually enjoys. She's gone quiet a bit, but she was very important to mention in the historical prominence of AMP.

While not currently in AMP due to some government bidness, you're looking at a former PP of AMP. I worked with him as PP and in government duties as well. I've spoken with him plenty on IRC and hell, I'm talking to him on slack right now. I certainly don't agree with him on anything but he's still a cool guy, just like Jude, as long as you don't prove easy to troll. He has promsied to buy votes for this article and he has been extremely useful in the defense department this month. He's left eRep and come back a lot, but I certainly hope he stays as long as possible this time around. He's a cool guy and I'm glad to play this game with him, no matter how much I may tease him.

American Military Party everybody...I really don't know what to say about them at this point. They're kinda inactive 😛

These have been my opinions on our T6 parties and some of their most prominent members, I hope you enjoyed them. If not? Shut up and take em anyway 😉.

Thanks to dmjohnston for coming up with the name of this article.
