Life in the HOOD

Sup Ereppers,

This is my response to Bia Pandora's "Stangers in the Night".

So yeah, I am going to be honest now, I am an horrible Erep Article writer, I find it too much effort for just 2 to 3 people to read and what now, so I just never wrote but yeah anyhow lets get to the point.

Fact Numbah 1:

Of course born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Lived in very gang infested areas my whole live growing up till my 8 grade year when I was 15. (yes I am and always was 2 grades behind long story haha). Very unfortunate circumstances is what convinced us to leave the gang infested areas and move on to a much nicer part of the Bronx where I was able to attend HS and actually graduate. While 99.9 of you might say HS is nothing, where I am from it truly is a mission just to graduate HS. My freshman class started with 4087 students, only 126 graduated when I graduated as a senior. Just a little stat I though I might put out for you guys 🙂.

Heres 2 pics from Google Maps of my old homes.

BTW, Google does a great job at making a horrible places look pretty decent haha.

Fact Numbah 2:

No matter how dim stuff looked for me, I always used sports to keep myself out of as much trouble as I could. (wont get into details there haha. If trust you and you wanna know I am willing to tell some stuff).

But yeah, I always loved sports, Soccer and Basketball being my primary loves, but also always loved playing Football too. During HS I played all 3 sports, I played PG for HS, I was the star Goal Keeper for soccer (we won the championship once and lost the other due to me allowing 3 goals in the first 10 min. I was sooo nervous that much and messed it up 🙁.) But I also played QB for the Football team. I SUCKED at QB by the way, just nobody wanted to play QB in my team they all wanted RB or WR so when the coach begged for a QB I raised my hand haha. After that was QB all 4 years.

Example of my college Bball team, (do not have any of my HS stuff its been too long)

BTW, I do love to hike as well and love being nerdy every now and then and play games like erep 😃

Heres me hiking up Mount Acadia in Maine

Fact Numbah 3:

While not having a college degree yet, I have taught for 3 years through volunteering with National Non-Profits (which entitles being a full time teach in a High School and get 250 dollars a week before taxes from the government as a token for volunteering full time)

Was it TOUGH doing it, oh yeah. Its basically working for free but I loved teaching the kids I worked with it was an amazing experience. but I will tell you this, being forced to live in a 3 room apartment with 5 other roommates is not fun haha.

but yes I am studying be a teacher and plan to teach in NY or any other very tough school to help the students as best as I can. Because I do believe any student can get through.

a little corny fact about me :3

Also heres more of me 😃

That last one is me and my fellow male teachers having fun during the Staff talent show, showing we teachers have fun too 😛

This is my article thanks for the Idea BIA!!!!

Also again sorry for the horrible article skills!
