***Caution!Diagrams may blow your mind!Commies and Socialist beware!***

Now in the grand scheme of things political, there are 2 extremes. No, lot far-right and far-left. These are more universal to all political ideologies, or rather should be. We have on one side: Government. And on the other: Freedom. Actually, you know what. Its even more basic than that, Really, it is. **This is where the diagrams come in! You have been warned! **

Lets gather up all the freedoms in the world, and symbolize them on a diagram.

What you see here is Anarchy. Some may see this as a more preferable form of lifestyle. Until they get killed by some bloke cuz it ain't "illegal" cuz there is no law. Tough luck dude! Yes, Freedom here includes every single action that you can conceive, from which bathroom you decide to use to killing another person. Yep, even Economics are included. To own a company and have employees, or just being an employee in a sweatshop or office desk. Whether morality plays a part or not, doesn't matter in Anarchy.

On the opposite side of things to Anarchy are Dictatorships. Whether Benevolent or Malign, its just the same in Freedom's eyes.

Now, technically, this isn't possible. Unless of course you were in some futuristic society that had Cybernetic implants that controlled your every thought.

But as to say at the moment, is isn't. So they go for the next best thing, This:

Hmmmm..... Doesn't look all too appealing to me... Doesn't look like I have the Freedom to decide where to work, or how much I get paid based on my work. Doesn't look like I have the Freedom to live where I want to, or How I want to. Seems that those choices are already made for me. Whether for the common good for at the whim of a Tyrant, seems like the same result in the end.

So lets go from the Anarchy side of things:

This here, adds Government for the sole purpose of protecting Freedom. Kinda counter-intuitive at first maybe, but I will show you. In Anarchy, You have every right to kill someone. Hence our problem. If you get killed by some bloke, thats the end of your Freedom then and there. So if we make a Government that limits that right..... It helps the rights of you! So you can have freedom. This includes Military to help from foreigners who think otherwise. Now, if your all saying "bummer man" cuz you can't go out and kill someone, you may need a psychiatrist.

Now on the economic side of this, This Government here also adds rights to the workers and to the employer. On the workers side, safety measures are taken to ensure you don't get killed. Wouldn't want that happening. On the employer side, If you're a poor worker that does very little, YOU'RE FIRED! Go look for another job. Cuz the Employer has every rith to make money. Kinda can't if you're not helping him, so he removes the problem, and fills you place in with someone willing to help, and get paid for it.

Now that may seem cold and harsh, but with this,

Personal Responsibility is required. And Maximum Freedom is gained. However, it doesn't stop other people from helping you themselves. Isn't Freedom Great? Those are charities that can help you get a better work ethnic, that is, if you work for it. If not, tough luck dude! 😛

Now for you Socialists, you may think there is some middle ground.

However, The role of Charities is taken upon by the Government, and is supplemented by the People through Taxes. Now it may be nice going to the dentist have not really having to worry about where the cash is gonna come from. But where does it come from? Taxes. In most Taxing schemes, the richer you are, the more you pay. Now while this is acceptable when there is little to pay for. Not so much a small amount when you're paying higher taxes for all the Social Programs that the Government has. Which results in the less cash you have overall to do what you want with... Sounds like reducing too much Freedom to me.

So which would you rather have? Be careful how you Answer, people are watching. Yes, they have the Freedom to do that too.
