Irish Freedom

Day 2,655, 20:02 Published in Ireland Ireland by Artaxerxes Pavonis

In response to the new Dictatorship mechanics and Don Croatia's recent article:

Ireland has never been one to cower in fear of anyone else. I support Democracy and Freedom. If we install a dictator that turns sour, what will we be thinking? I'd rather fight any and all attempts of Coup to secure that all Irish citizens have a voice. Well, as much a voice as we currently have with game mechanics, ie President and Congress.

I may have a number of friends here in Ireland, and around the world, but I would never entrust any of them with the entirety of our government. I wouldn't even trust myself. The voice of the People must be heard, and the best way is for free elections every month.

We are stronger than we sometimes think. And if by chance a foreign MU decides to Coup us, (or some selfish domestic weasel) we will have the support of our neighbors and friends. But if we fail, I'll at least I'll be satisfied we gave our all, and that said Dictatorship won't last forever.
