My Party President has tasked me with introducing the Independent Labour Party's selection of Congress Election candidates.

Before I do I just want to bring to your attention some facts about the ILP members in the last Congress.

In the December election the ILP returned 11 Congresspeople.

I am proud to say through all the turbulence and recriminations that are rolling over eIrish society at present, The ILP still have still in place all 11 Congresspeople working calmly and responsibly in Congress putting eIreland first.



Did we agree with the Executive all the time...No but we put our case and voted, each Congressperson individually, all putting what we thought was best for eIreland. We gave stability while around us a sad and bitter personal feud hurt eIreland.

In the forthcoming election and the time of change ahead what we offer is stability...



Now to induce the team in no particular order...



Finally may I ask you the voter, when faced with the choices on the 25th, please consider casting your vote for the Independent Labour Party
