Join the new world

I am thrilled to be running (get the joke?) for the leadership of a rising CPF. Like eCanada we have recently hit some lows in activity due to some consistent problems with our Party's Presidents but with Addy's de facto leadership and our efforts towards a revamped forum, we have come back on track and with Alias Vision on board we'll keep rising even more. Good work mooseheads!

With Funky Hum24n at the helm you know you will get a Party President that is loyal. I have been with the CPF since literally Day 1 of its existence. Before that I was a member of Bruck's Canucks during Canada's PEACE occupation and before that an active member of the old CEP Party where I learned the ins and outs of erepublik politics from people like Bruck or Goran Thrax.

There are three things that I want to focus on if I become Party President of the Canadian Progressive Front: Better coordination of Paetor battle efforts, better effectiveness of of our Strategic Voting Team and a recruitment team.

I am unaware of our Praetor companies exact status but I know that more specific employees are required. However apart from tile flipping there has been a lack of communication and attempts to strategize our fights. If I become PP I would create simple rules so members know when to fight and what they should do on the battlefield once they're there even if I'm not. A Praetor Commander to help the PP would also be established to help in all things Praetor.

The feared CPF voting team perhaps stagnated a bit during the last congressional election. As PP I would continue giving non-top 5 parties the chance to run their own candidates under the CPF banner giving us the opportunity to narrow our efforts. I would take into account the migration of players as they no longer need to live in a region with a hospital anymore, (even New Brunswick had a wildcard in the last election!) with our placement of blockers and SVT votes.

I would also put in place a recruitment team to recruit or convert anyone they see fit. Our history and Praetors are huge recuitment oppurtunities that I want to take use of. Focusing on individual, active and underappreciated members from other parties would be a new tactic that I would try as well as increasing our media output whether it's more votes to our member's articles, more mention of the CPF in these articles and just simply more articles, shouts and comments. I joined the old CEP (and by extension the CPF) because of media, so will many more join the CPF because of that in the future.

P.S. Even if I don't win the PP, which I know is likely with Addy and James' popularity and Aeriala's hard work lately I still wish to make the obvious call to the next PP to take into account the other candidate's platforms to help put the CPF back as the dominant party of eCanada. (And Holy Crap, erepublik and my browser didn't delete my platform this time! 😃)(x2)
