SHIELD Members in Government Positions

We have had many members of SHIELD work in the American Government but with the last CP election on October 5th we received word from a member that he was moving back to his home country to be CP but still wanted to be active in SHIELD however he would be in their National Army. He also informed us that many SHIELD members would also be in high ranking positions within his administration, we were unaware that in actuality all but one was either a current or former member of SHIELD.

Trekker: Congratulations on being elected President of Albania, how does it feel to finally have reached the Country President level?

I L L Y R I C U M: Thanks a lot.It is a good feeling,but you also have more responsibility.

Trekker: How long have you been working towards this?

I L L Y R I C U M: I have been working 16-18 days.

Trekker: When we talked before, you mentioned a baby boom to me. Is there anything you can tell us about that?

I L L Y R I C U M:Yeah,my main plan was to do a baby-boom in eAlbania,to regenerate the Albanian community and bring more Albanian players,keep them in here, being more active,but the 1st attempt failed,publishing on social networks like facebook. Maybe we will make another attempt on TV,newspapers ect with real money!(Maybe)

Trekker: What other plans do you have for your time as CP?

I L L Y R I C U M: My other plan was to keep safe our 3 colonies on UAE,and be focused only in the baby boom,but if it fails again, probably we will create another plan,a military action,maybe another gang band like in China

Trekker: How are you holding up in the new MU?

I L L Y R I C U M: I have like 1 month or something.

Trekker: Well, as you have noticed, we here at SHIELD are excited for you. I see you are wearing the badge we made up for you. Do you plan to come back to SHIELD after being President?

I L L Y R I C U M: yeah,I have in plan to return there again.

Trekker: What brought you to SHIELD in the first place?

I L L Y R I C U M: If you see my government most of them are SHIELD's members or SHIELD's former members,so I have lot of friends there,and all my friends have been respected a lot there, being like home, feeling love and honor!

Trekker: What do you enjoy about being part of SHIELD?

I L L Y R I C U M: I love your way to give support to someone ,and you showed it when I was elected as Albanian CP.It was really nice,and I appreciate it with all my heart.

Trekker: SHIELD has an ever growing Albanian presence in our MU. Do you think SHIELD is a good place for people looking for a new MU to go?

I L L Y R I C U M: I see many Albanians join SHIELD,and this gives more hope and stability to our friendship,American-Albanian friendship.

This gives to us and to you the possibility to know each other better,and growing up together,as friends and brothers. SHIELD is all what new players need.

A cold home,great friends,you can feel love in there,you can feel friendship and respect,and you get all the help you need,in weapons,food ect.

Deep within the depths of time,
within the heart of the new world,
there is a unit, many men strong,
which fights with courage and valor.

This unit, its name be Shield,
to all the world its glory shines,
Proud and horny, the men will fight on,
to defend the peace of the world.

When in Japan, rebels stirred,
out came Shield to combat the risk.
When from the sea rose the Cuban threat,
Shield protected us then, as well.

Now still, as we speak, Shield fights on.

The main talk now days is that the game is dying. People are calling for Plato's head.

There are many people from all parties having trouble in many countries retaining people and keeping people involved and active in the meta game.

I imagine many of the cities in today's world as ruined. Few people left rivaling over scraps and entire countries just not being very active at all, much like China's recent topple.

Well to this I say shut up! You wonder why this game is dying. Congress is in what seems to be a perpetual lame duck session.

So all the nay sayers out there shut your mouth. Instead of complaining go out there and bring someone to the game. There's chat rooms, even other games that people play. Have someone come check it out join and play. The only thing that will turn things around is us. Plato isn't going to get more people involved in the meta game. Plato doesn't give two ***** about the meta game. He cares about the money. Why would they care what people do other than in game. If you think they do then you may be an idiot.

There are people out there working hard to maintain what is still alive, but without fresh blood to bring up and infuse the next generation of leaders then we shall continue to deincentivise new players and will continue down the road. So maybe you should do something about it or shut up. Many people could care less about what I am saying. Many like to stand on their soap box preaching what they have done or how they are so great. Well your fools, these so called dead legends of eRepublik aren't legends they are quitters. They quit whatever they did doesn't matter now because they may have helped get us where we are, but where we are is slowly fading away just like those that have left. So if you want to keep things interesting then do something. Some would like to cling to their power and influence long enough to say the were the best until the end, without the foresight to see that it brought them nothing but to the end.

If you're offended enough to do something great. If you're offended and think you somehow have earned some right to hold tightly to your failing beliefs then I don't care.

Well everyone from deep down in my heart I want to thank you, ive enjoyed every moment of being your media director.

I know ive only been director for half a month, but as you know party president elections happened.

Trekker has been crowned the new party president. ScottCoyleSr and I are going to switch places, he is going to take media and I am going to take the Fun Department from him.

So everything is going to be fine... wait what EDITOR what do you mean a sobering tales of lies and rubbish... 😑 Trekker fire the editor... oh wait im the editor... 😑 oops...
