Flying from Eldorado to Iguazu
L E V I A T A N
Hello guys and girls and welcome again! It's been a long time and I just wanted to tell you that I'm not dead or something like that
😛just went full hermit mode here
😃Today I want to share with you pictures I took in April 23. I went to the air club to talk with my instructor about programming a navigational flight to Iguazu for another day. But I ended flying that day to Iguazu, though it wasn't in the Cessna 150. It was in a more advanced Cessna 210 model, which is superior in almost everything compared to the 150. I wasn't expecting to fly in it. I always wanted to do it
😃but it was a spontaneous flight.
From left to right: Cessna 152 II, Cessna 150 and Cessna T210 Centurion II.
😃but pushing the 210 proved to be a good exercise
😛
The two Cessna 172 Skyhawk II. The operations room is at the right.

Cockpit of the 210.
😃
The passenger section can hold up to four people
Front of the airplane with its retractable landing gear.
Foot stools, also retractable
Main landing gear compartment
Nose landing gear and its compartment
The 210 has very nice lines from every angle.
As I said before
Taxiing from platform to the runway.
Starting up the digital instruments.
Setting up the radio stations.
Taxiing to the end of the runway for departure.
Preparing the take off, the pilot had to apply hot air a few times because the engine was cold. CLICK IMAGE FOR VIDEO
Full thrust into runway 01 for takeoff CLICK IMAGE FOR VIDEO
Taking off (after being used to fly the 150 this take off felt like being in a rocket).
As we start to climb, the mighty green appears.
Passengers can’t complain for lack of view.
Rear view with the runway getting smaller.
As soon as you take off you can notice a creek, the name is "Piray-Mini".
From left to right, the GPS showing the destiny (pink line from SATD [Eldorado] to SARI [Iguazu]), the EMS (Engine Monitoring System) and the EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument System). CLICK IMAGE FOR VIDEO
The Paraná river, biggest river in South America after the Amazonas. You can notice a tiny mirror on the wing, with this the pilot can visually know if the landing gear retracted.
How many tones of green can you count?
Not enough green? Here, be my guest.
Another creek making its way through the green.
Partial view of an artificial lake created by a dam (right side).
Partial view of an artificial lake created by a dam (left side).
You can notice the “skeletons” of trees.
Close view of what once was a great forest.
More skeletons in the water.
Iguazu airport onsight.
River ahead is the Iguazu river, North border of my province (and Argentina) with Brazil. Iguazu falls lies there (you can see steam produced by the waterfalls).
Main landing gear extended.
Landing at runway 31. CLICK IMAGE FOR VIDEO
Taxiing from the runway to the platform.
Platforms 1 and 2 with jet bridges (unfortunately there was no airplanes from airlines at the moment
🙁)
The new control tower in construction, when compared, the actual tower looks like a toy.
Former firefighter station, the new one is in the building behind.
The 210 is just amazing!
Cessna 172 parked at the general aviation platform.
All filled up and ready for departure. CLICK IMAGE FOR VIDEO
You spin me right round baby

Taking off from runway 31, sunset ahead. CLICK IMAGE FOR VIDEO
General view of the airport and its platforms.
As soon as we climb we see the vast national park.
The runway getting smaller as we turn.
Native and untouched forest, simply amazing (it's the only actual place in Argentina where you can find Yaguaretes).
General view of the artificial lake.
The cars looks like ants.
The dam provides almost 60% of the electricity the province need, the creek seen is the Urugua-i.
The dam sure changed the view of this place.
Another view of the dam, you can notice the height difference.
A future aquatic park.
The town of “Wanda”, there are gemstones mines there.
The sun said us goodbye after a fast but awesome journey.
Landing at runway 19 in Eldorado, home again. CLICK IMAGE FOR VIDEO
And here it ends, this was a very long article and I know you enjoyed it! I'll try to post regularly but don't be surprised if I dissapear again xD see you "soon" and go to fly!

First denied.
Corrected some minor mistakes and code fails. If you see anything wrong please point it out 😃
Great 🙂
Thank you 😃
Beautiful 😃
... but I must complain: you take us to Iguazu and we don't see any waterfalls 😒
Won't argue that 😃 We couldn't fly over the waterfalls cause we were very low on fuel as the idea was to load as much as we could once we landed. So I'll take pics from the waterfall when I do my navigational flight to Iguazu 😃
nice 🙂

At the start I was wondering if the Iguazu mentioned in the article was our south american Iguazu or some other place with the same name in Europe. Hehehe
