Hi kids!

Today I'll be doing an interview with perhaps the youngest player ever to win the Campaign Hero medal, eTrane. Not eight months old to eRep and with an in-game strength of under 2,500 but the rank of Field Marshal*, one of the original members of Pickle's Patriots.




Friends Are Good

Something important to our MU is friendship. I enjoy the friends I've made while playing this game and I'm glad I have the chance to know eTrane. He and jver1207 were friends before either joined PP. I'll shut up and let jver tell you how they came to know one another.

"I met eTrane when he applied for a job at one of my companies. I sent a generic message welcoming him to the company and thanking him for working. He was just beginning in eRep and I suggested to him that if I could be of any help then he shouldn't be shy to ask. He had a couple of in game friends that helped him monetarily and he and I just began to chat about companies and ROI for buying them. He was very enthusiastic and eager to learn about eRep and to develop his in game persona and land (if that is the right word). We got to chatting frequently, bouncing ideas off of each other for generating income, playing the markets, and maximizing our influence in battles (when it came to calculations, I would ask him to check them all. He's got a knack for math I think!).

I quickly realized that I could trust him with out a doubt and he has been a very supportive friend (I recall my run for congress and he was behind me all the way with voting, shouting, and all around encouragement). It was a great confidence boost for me. All in all, he's one of my closest in game friends and I am super proud of what he has accomplished in such a short time!"




Some Info Before We Begin

eTrane was born on April 23, 2011 in the eUSA. He has many achievements including the Campaign Hero, a Battle Hero and two Mercenary awards. There is an ever growing list of some interesting people he has friended.

Let's take a look at the person behind eTrane:

On With The Show

Dill: Welcome eTrane, glad you could take a minute and tell us your story.

eTrane: Glad to share with the eWorld!

Dill: So I gotta ask, what's the name eTrane about?

eTrane: Trane is my nickname since February 2006. With the release of a game "Mark Ecko's Getting up" in which the main char is called "Trane". I just liked it, I think you get why it's eTrane.

Dill: We've heard what jver had to say, how do you remember getting started here and meeting him?

eTrane: jver was the first friend I added on eRep, he helped me, and still does! With some food, some weps and advice! He's like my best friend on eRep.

Dill: How did you come to join Pickle's Patriots?

eTrane: He told me that soon he would help make some MU and I should think about if I'd be able to help / join. I was a bit confused on what to do. I wanted to join with jver, but on the other hand I did not want to disappoint him if school took up too much of my time 😑 but it turned out cool so far + the MU founder "Thedillpickl" is rly a nice and funny guy!

Dill: Well, that's a relief. I've been called a lot of things in eRep and those are not the usual words that are used to describe me. Thank you.

eTrane: It's only the truth! You're welcome tho. 🙂

Dill: Now to the point of this interview. How the heck did you manage a Campaign Hero when your CO (me) can't even score a lousy BH?

eTrane: To be honest... I was expecting to get 2-3 x BH medals but I kinda failed that by not much (40.000 max) and then just got mad, no gold for poor little me? Then I started giving all I got in that campaign until there was no health left!

Some advice for ppl trying that:
Don't even thing about it if you have less then 30 Energy bars or less then 40 bazookas! (I used like 34-36 bars and 40 bazooka's.)

Dill: There you have it. Pickle's Patriots own eTrane. I've given him a new nickname for the MU of "Sandman" 'cause he caught us all napping. I don't know if it will stick though, he's pretty fond of Trane.
