This edition will contain images of the inventary the Argentina Air Force owns, also a little info about them and most important, several low fly videos, let's start!

ADVICE: I wanted to give you some advice before looking at the videos, it's extremely recommended that you have a pair of extra pants just in case.

1 - IA-58 Pucará

The FMA IA-58 Pucará (remember it means "fortress" in an originary language) is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft designed and manufactured in Argentina, its first flight was in 1969.

It is desgined to operate in small (and not necessarily prepared) dirt runways. Its primary missions are ground attack, anti-helicopter, and counter insurgency.

2 - IA-63 Pampa

The FMA IA-63 Pampa is an advanced training aircraft designed by Fábrica Militar de Aviones from Argentina with the assistance of Dornier Flugzeugwerke from Germany. Its first flight was in 1984.

It has some combat capabilities as it can carry rockets and bombs. There are plans to upgrade the Pampa to allow it to carry missiles, making it a light fighter.

3 - Lockheed Martin A-4AR Fightinghawk

The Fightinghawk is an updated and modernized version of the attack aircraft McDonnell Douglas A-4M Skyhawk developed in the United States as a request made by the Argentina Air Force.

This updated version has some fighter capabilities but its main role is to perform bomber missions. Its first flight was in 1997.

4 - Lockheed C-130 Hercules

The Hercules is a medium/heavy tactical transport aircraft powered by four turboprop engines, manufactured in the US since the 50s by Lockheed (now Lockheed Martin). This versatile aircraft is the main transport in many military forces in the world.

It has served in more than 50 countries, in its 40 versions and different models, in countless military, civilian and humanitarian aid operations. It's also the only military aircraft still in production after 50 years.

5 - Mirage IIIEA, V & IAI Finger

The Dassault Mirage III is the basic version. designed to be a supersonic interceptor, its first flight was in 1956.

The Mirage V is an updated version of the Mirage III; in this case it was designed to be an attack aircraft and its first flight was in 1967.

The IAI Finger is an argentinian upgrade of the IAI Dagger, and the Dagger is an israeli reverse engineering copy of the Mirage V (yeah kind of complicated 🙂 ). This aircraft was designed to be both interceptor and attack aircraft (with fighter capabilities).

Okay this is all for today, I know it was a bit short but I'm sure you agree it was worth it 🙂
