This article is not in the funny vein as would be expected and is SOLELY to warn you NOT to fight in ANY wars without Indian government sanction.
Our Iranian friends have been very kind and have asked us to participate in the liberation of North India but this will not be done as every Indian citizen needs to wait for Presidential consent and approval. DO NOT FIGHT UNLESS SANCTIONED.
Currently, it is our privilege to welcome our Iranian guests with good wishes and thanks but we cannot unfortunately accompany them to war 🙁
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE NPF is checking all those who will attempt to fight.
VERY IMP :
There are some inactive and multi citizens in the country who have been inactive since long. Do note that anyone using these accounts shall be checked up and banished.

Thanks everybody for keeping your cool and hangin on; bit of a crisis last night, did not want this to snowball into a possible diplomacy breakdown, which is why the spate of articles form our end.

Also, I think instead of just orders an attempt should be made to explain as to why we should not fight...i can imagine lots of people being very confused.
Sorry another point too - a theoretical question, if someone wants to fight personally and does the NPF has the power to take action against him/her?
not directly, no. NPF can have him/her flagged in their paper, and suggest debarring from forums, congress, or any privileges as such, situations where we have control over. Besides that of course its not enforceable 'legally'.
But of course for everybody's benefit, esp newer eIndians ~ the core point is that our diplomacy & neutrality is our strong point. It has and is standing us in good stead. Our key goal is to build eIndia, and engaging in any conflict would be in direct violation of the friendship and trust we have and are building with our neighbors. We will have our region returns, just not through the way of conflict.
Yes I see that, but maybe clearly pointing out that the RW has been started by Canada, a party in the current world war, would explain things better!
Hey vigi...all good points and agreed to and I think subsequent papers explained it well 🙂
The important point was to make sure people did not fight and instead asked their questions to the ministers and heads of state and I thank everybody for showing restraint.
NPF powers is what you seek to know? The only power NPF has is that of knowledge. In a game like erepublik, knowledge is vital and the job of the NPF is to watch and recommend. We do not take action, it is the government that does it.
Do come to me with any doubts and I shall be more than happy to clarify them 🙂
btw - I seek to (and have always sought) a good friendly working relationshop with all our citizens unlike previously where the NPF was (apparently) like a Gestapo and the NPF leaders did foster that imagery with dire threats and warnings of bans. The current NPF intends nothing of the sort and intends no tom tomming. We are a very small time, low profile, powerless and meek organisation, just seeking co-operation 🙂
