Did Kravenn lie to congress ???

8 days ago congress was talking about NEing Norway. Kravenn gave the excuse that we should not invade Norway as it could start a war with Russia which would lead to a TWO vs CoT world war.
Kravenn----"A war between TWO and CoT is sadly possible, It depends from what will happen in Eden. On these moments, we (TWO) are allied with CoT but almost every player who have more than 6 months in Erepublik know that erepublik is bipolar.

Some months ago, Russia was in an hostile alliance or at least hostile to UK. Now, they moved to a proCoT status (they aren't trial member) but they have no MPP with TWO countries. BG is clearly behind that move. Now if you want to play rogue, and have some fun, You can try to have something with Russia but they can be nice but not always. If it is to have 1 week of fun, be wiped during 6 months, and provoke a war TWO vs CoT : it is clearly the most stupid idea ever."
He went on to say that "Consider to lose 4 CoT MPP and provoke a war TWO vs CoT and a big huge one who could be a World one.
What do you explain ? We wanted fun and provoked a world war, result was that we were wiped during 6 months.

However 3 days after this Poland NE'd Russia themselves which makes me wonder, why did Kravenn try to scare us that by invading Norway we would start a war with Russia and ruin TWO / CoT relations?
Kravenn's response to this question was that "it was down to a cabinet agreement with the Nordliks".
So does this mean that Kravenn intentionally tried to scare congress by knowingly lying to them? Why could he not just say that there was a agreement straight up instead of misleading Congress? I asked Kravenn this in a pm but he has yet to respond to my query.
p.s. this is directed only at this person and is not a attack on anything or anyone else, I just want answers. Also people should understand that yes the excuse Kravenn told congress is a valid one but apparently it was not the main reason for not attacking Norway (which he could have easily told us )

Kraveen hardly ever lies. Tbh, starting a new war when your allies need help is not the best way to benefit the alliance you are in.
Moreover, the UK has not got power enough to face the possible consequences of a Russian attack, if it had been produced. They are now being attacked by Poland, but in the long term nothing good would have come out for you.
I fully understand this however it still does not mean that he can tell congress one thing while all along it is because of a entirely different reason that he did not want us to NE Norway

You should also know depending on which CP wins, if they don't support you they run off to their little buddies in TWO command ie Mininuns and make sure the UK gets no action for that month.

ha, I think he is just going to ignore the whole thing and let it disappear from memory. However I do not forget and I will not be naively trusting him from now on
read the comments and I think Kravenn comes out rather well. You obviously either don't understand what you are talking about, or are playing dumb to make Kravenn look bad.
Lesson learnt, hopefully by posting this article others will learn too. And of course this lesson isn't just applicable to Kravenn.

Kravenn didn't lie to you. WE cannot attack Norway/Russia without being wasted. Poland CAN do so and whether the international displeasure. Why? Because the TWO/CoT need Poland more than they need, say, us.

Do you actually read what I write or do you just like to say your piece then leave? As I have said many times over, I do not dispute the fact that NEing Norway would have upset Russia and might have started a war with them. What my article is about is that Kravenn gave us the wrong 'real' reason for why he did not want congress to NE Norway. Though I understand that you were not in that discussion group and so you cannot fully appreciate the way it came about.

I see no lies. I see the plain truth. why? Because the entire s***fest Poland has created could lead to a the global war Kravenn warned of...
and we could have started it had we attacked Norway. As it stands, having a border with Russia means we stand a risk of being wiped as the weak chink in TWO. At the end of the day, this is not a lie. This is/was the truth at the time. Besides, if Poland had been planning on invading Russia with full Kravenn knowledge, we could have taken the chance to invade Norway knowing we would be safer, especially once Russia passed their NE proposal.
Has it occurred to you that Kravenn was unaware at the time of Polands plan? Or that Kravenn was not at liberty to discuss the invasion and that this is true, but maybe not every single fact that was around the subject?

Since you bring up that Kravenn might not have known about the invasion of Russia I will comment on it. If it is true then I will find it deeply disturbing that such a high ranking official such as Kravenn was unaware of the massive campaign Poland (TWO) was about to unleash, when it was only 3 days from being launched.
My intention is not to defame Kravenn or anyone/anything else. My goal is simple, bring this to the attention of the people and make of it what they will and hope (though unlikely) that Kravenn will provide a explanation. I just wanted an answer and was trying to do it privately through pm but Kravenn would not respond and Mr.Woldy told me to take my quest somewhere besides the congress discussion group, which I have done

point being, not a lie. This is most definetly a TRUE statement by Kravenn. Everything Kravenn told you is true. And of course is a good reason as any not to attack Norway, and may have been his actual reasons to not attack Norway...
