Dexx response to Rangeley’s “With Open Eyes”.

This article is a response to Rangeley’s “With Open Eyes”.

The game is based on RL. Real life borders, currencies - at least currency masks, regions etc. A few months ago the admins of this game put a new element on the main log in screen of eRepublik. It was about some happenings before day zero, before the game started. It started with a greek bankrupt, which was actual at that time in real life, but well, it is still actual. A few envisioned future happenings followed it, before we reached the day zero.

This was the final sign that the game is based on RL history. It is quiet logical, but however a lot of players denied this fact in past, and probably now too. When hungarian patriots wanted to fight tor restore the pre-Trianon borders others always said that in this game there were no Trianon. Those who were not clever enough to understand that the real life borders also means that the game is based on RL history (Otherwise where the borderlines could come from if not from past wars, before day zero?), finally must understood it when the admins put that little story on to the main page.

The game is based on RL. History, borders, regions, currencies... What about emotions, and feelings? We are not robots to turn them off, so obviously we bring our feelings from RL as well. Of course there are roleplaying, but in this game that is limited a bit, and you can not force other players to play with that. You can act and play as an ally of Slovakia, or any other country, but you should not judge those who look at them as an enemy, because of real life feelings.

The best example to understand something is always the most extreme example: If someome kill your mother, would you play eRepublik with him after that? Would you be allies in the game?

The slovaks stole our lands, just like some others.. it is an artifical state, even younger than me. They discriminate the local hungarian minority, and punish, or punch them if they speak their own motherlanguage. Their government in recent years accepted a law which have a great popularity among the slovaks: they take away the slovak citizenship - and all rights coming with it from and ONLY the hungarian minority if they accept the hungarian CS.

Of course we understand if you do not share the feelings we have about them. We do not even want you to do it. But you should accept that we feel that way and we have the right for that. Rangeley, I am sure if the Soviet Union would conquered USA and did the things the slovaks did/do to hungarians, the USA and soviets/russians would not be allies in this game.

As I said we understand you don’t share our feelings towards slovaks. It is even logical from your point of view that the two countries are allies. But you should understand that there are another point of view now in eAustria, and that is the kuruc’s.

You still keep saying Austria is not our business, get out and such.. Who tell these? Bosnians, americans, turks and such.. This country is just like ours now as yours. You said we will leave soon, and you can evade us anyway. We are still here and we stay, and where are those who got citizenships to help you in elections? Slovaks, americans, turks and hell I don’t know which nations they came from. I take a look at the approved citizenships and I see that they ALL went home long ago.

Like it or not we are here and we are coming and coming and coming, in large numbers.. You all still behave quiet childish, but you should accept the fact that we will overgrow you. We offered you almost everything to live together in peace, we offered a brand new forum what actually ours, and we own the psw lol as you left the old one’s, we offered you a ton of government positions, offered you the orgs with full of money in them. You just stole everything from them, and accused us that we did it. L O L

You acted childish and refused the cooperation. Ok, we get it, we won’t work together. It is not even a small pain for us, we totally don’t care, we did much more for the good cause than we should.. You didn’t want to work with us, so we have no reason to write our main articles in english. We don’t care if you understand hungarian or not.. We created an own state-in-state and it is developing. It’s all your fault.

Slovakia is the enemy of the kuruces. It will stay that way. It’s based on RL. If you want to critize it, remember the example: If someome kill your mother, would you play eRepublik with him after that? Would you be allies in the game?
