Days - 1417-1419



Canada successfully defended North America, as they fended off the Swedish invasion. Coupled with the loss of Scotland, this closes the war between Canada and Sweden, as they no longer share a border. This is good news for Canada, as it leaves the much weaker UK in their borders. Of course we have seen much smaller countries beat down larger ones, thanks entirely to ONE’s MPP stack. But, the United Kingdom will not be a priority of ONE. Not with Spain getting wrecked.
Currently, the UK and Canada are battling for Manitoba. It is a close battle, but it is looking like Canada will pull out the victory. They should dominate tonight, and end up with a win. A loss, will mean that the Country is split, and Canada’s economy will be damaged.



The war in Spain has turned on a dime. The invasion by Croatia split the Spanish damage, and allowed both the United States and Croatia to win their battles. It took a massive amount of damage by EDEN/TERRA to regain initiative for the United States, but regain it they did. At this rate, Spain is looking at being wiped within a few days, barring a massive out pouring of damage by ONE.

In Eastern Europe, Romania has come charging back and now controls 5 regions. They have opened a Resistance War in Crisana, however the Hungarians currently hold a 2-0 lead, and are poised to win a third. It is probable, that Hungary will win, as most of EDEN/TERRA is focused on the invasion of Spain.
In not so good news, Greece remains wiped. The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, has managed to keep Greece down for nearly a week. This is surprising, as recently in eRepublik, country’s have been unable to sustain their dominance over their neighbors (Poland being the exception). Hopefully, Greece can get back on their feet, and return to a dominant place in the world.



China has invaded the Philippines in what is much more of a region swap, than an aggressive invasion. The plan is, to move through the Philippines on the way to Indonesia. China is on the verge on conquering the last region, and thus ending the war and allowing China to declare Indonesia as their Natural Enemy.
With the possibility of a Brazilian attack through South Africa, and the always present American invasion from Hawaii, the Indonesians could be facing a very real threat of invasion. Add to that, the presence of Australia, able to drain damage, and distract the Indonesians with both direct attacks and Resistance Wars, and Indonesia could be looking at fighting on 5 fronts. No small taks at all.
The Chinese are very clearly positioning themselves for an attack. Time will tell if the United States, Brazil and Australia follow suit.

Overall Analysis
Spain is doomed. There is no other way to put it. Even if the American Campaign were to fail, Croatia is still a dominant force in the region. And vice versa. There is likely no way that the Spanish can survive for much longer.
And in the Pacific, things are not stacking up well for Indonesia. The situation is still in it’s infant stages, and things are likely to change. However, as it stands, there is the possibility that Indonesia will be attempting to fight off four countries. No small task, as any American can tell you.
