Day 9 -

North America
Day 9 saw the loss of Kentucky for the Americans. This does not come as a surprise, as America has been directing their forces to support their foreign allies. From Kentucky, Spain has launched an attack on Indiana. This will give them a grain region, which since losing their French Regions, they no longer possess. From Kentucky, the Spanish also have access to Cattle (Missouri) and Oil (Illinois), two resources that they do not control. These regions would provide a huge boost to an already strong Spanish Economy.
The American war with Mexico continues to stagnate, with Mexico attacking Arizona. America had previously won initiative back, but with the failed attack on Baja, Mexico regained it. With America being occupied elsewhere, the Mexicans can expect to see victories in the Southwest.

South America
The Polish maneuver to separate Brazil’s Capital from their Iron Regions, was successful. Brazil now controls only Fish and Fruits, even though they technically still own an Iron region, it is useless because it is cut off from the capital. Poland followed up their victory with an attack on Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil’s last remaning Iron region.
So far, Brazil has been helpless against Poland aggression (as has most of Europe). However, Brazil is holding their own in the current battle, thanks to some heavy tanking by Croatia. America has also sent troops, as has a variety of other Allied Nations.

Western Europe
France continues it’s liberation, this time against Poland. Paris still remains under Spanish control, but economically speaking, it is useless to both Spain and France.
Germany is currently a non factor in this theater.

Eastern Europe
I would like to point out an error from yesterday’s edition. I said that Serbia would gain a border with USA if they conquered Russia. This is untrue. They will gain a border with Canada, but would need to control Alaska, in order to attack Washington. My apologies.
Serbia continues to plow through Russia. Although there is not a currently active battle, Serbia does still possess initiative, and will likely attack Far Eastern Russia. If successful, they will share a border with Canada. And we can expect them to attack Canada. Whether they attack Canada, in order to gain access to America, or whether they invade China remains to be seen.

Overall Analysis
The war in North America will likely worsen. Especially as the war in South America worsens. Brazil is in an awful spot. And a Polish wiping of them, now seems likely. If that happens, Poland will probably declare USA as natural enemy. Combine that with Spain, Mexico and probably Serbia (they’ll have sacked Alaska by that time), things do not look good for America, nor for EDEN/Terra.
The wars in Western Europe are a non factor as of now, and it is the Eastern European front that provides much intrigue currently.
