Day 34 -

North America
Montana has been liberated by American freedom fighters, as the United States continued their success against Spain, via the Resistance War. There is already a Resistance war in Kentucky, as the United States had a sudden craving for Chicken. However, expect the Resistance Wars against Spain to slow down, as the United States is going to try and maintain a Spanish wall between the USA and Hungary. This will mean that Hungary will have to wrap around Kansas, if they want to get at the midwest.
A resistance failed in Indiana, but this comes as no surprise, as the United States has yet to win against Poland. They have focused all their attention towards Spain and Hungary.

A lot of free states... ripe for Serbian plucking

Even with this success, the Americans are preparing for invasion. Serbia will likely attack Hawaii within 36-48 hours. They have one more region to wrap up in Asia, and then the Natural Enemy proposal, which takes 24 hours. And then, an attack on Hawaii. It will be Imperative, that the Americans repel this attack, because if Serbia gains a toe hold in the United States, they very well may wipe the nation for the second time in as many months.
In Canada, the United Kingdom has been expelled from North America, as the Canadians retook Prince Edward Island. They now face the daunting task of liberating Polish held states, a task that no nation has been up to thus far.

South America
South America is awash in battles at the moment. Brazil won in Center West of Brazil, against the Spanish, and have already launched a resistance in North of Brazil. The battle is fresh, and neither side has a win yet. This is a huge battle for Brazil, as it is their last occupied region, and the last step to becoming a free nation.
Spain still has holdings in South America of course, but the Argentinians are working towards liberation as well. There is a Resistance in South East Chaco, which Spain leads 1-0. Spain is also about to conquer Cuyo, Argentina.

Europe
Poland is now Natural Enemy with France, and they proceeded to attack Aquitaine, the newly liberated region, that borders North Carolina. If Poland wins, it will likely mean that Hungary won’t be able to attack North America, if they are ever expelled from the continent. France is also winning a highly contested Resistance War against Hungary, 5-4. The French Battle hero for round 9, dropped 3.6 million damage.
Portugal returned to the map, with the successful resistance war in Centro. And they are about to retake Azores. This is apparently part of a peace treaty, and Portugal should have all of their regions back in no time at all.

Middle East
Egypt returned to the map, with a win in Lower Egypt. They are now attempting to win in Sinai, and cut off the Macedonians from their Middle Eastern holdings. The battle is currently in Egypt’s favor 2-0.

Middle East

Asia
China won in Zhejiang yesterday, yet another win against Hungary. This will likely be the last Resistance War against Hungary, as the Hungarians are now providing a shield against Serbia and Poland. With Hungary Natural Enemied with the United States, it is highly unlikely they will attack the free Chinese regions. This will ensure continued Chinese sovereignty, and any resistance war opened in a Hungarian held region, will likely be fiercely fought for, from Hungary’s side.
South Korea failed in their attack on Eastern Taiwan, meaning that the Serbians have attacked it. The Serbians currently hold a 5-0 lead, and will likely pitch the no hitter. With the loss of Eastern Taiwan, Hawaii will share a border with Serbia, and will likely get attacked after Serbia declares the United States natural enemy. As noted above, this will happen very soon.

Overall Analysis
Serbia is prepping for an invasion of the United States. They did not get to directly participate in the first invasion, and ONE would likely view it as a great success to get all four of their primary nations into America.
This secondary invasion will test the mettle of the Americans, and the strategy of the Keating Administration. And it will show whether the dominance of the American Resistance, can translate into an initiative grabbing win against Serbia. Although I am pessimistic about the American’s chances, I am also quietly hopeful. Time will tell, as it always does.
