Day 32 - Hungary Takes Massive Losses!

Day 1,339, 14:11 Published in USA USA by Israel Stevens
Day 32 -

North America

The Americans continued their dominance over ONE, via the resistance war. Yesterday, North Carolina returned to the Union, as the United States was able to oust Hungary from the coastal state. This is a very strategic region, because it was the entry point for the Hungarian invasion.
The United States also secured Illinois. Strategically, this region is of little importance. But from an economic standpoint, this region is the first region that provides America with a Weapon Raw Material. A definite boost, to a floundering economy.
In Canada, the United Kingdom lost control of Quebec. As usual, this battle was a resistance war. With the loss of this region, the United Kingdom’s holdings in North America is reduced to Prince Edward Island, and Ontario. Expect a resistance war to be started in either of these regions very shortly.
There are no active battles in North America at the moment. But, it is likely that resistance wars will be started against Spain and Hungary for sure, and more than likely Poland. These will likely come very soon, so as to capitalize on the United States’ primetime.

South America
Brazil secured the southernmost region of Rio Grande do Sul. They still have much work to do, but should see some success, as Spain is distracted by Argentina, in that part of the world.
Speaking of the Argentinians; they will likely avoid being wiped by just a few minutes. Southeast Chaco is about to be conquered by Spain, and that is the last region of Argentina. However, the resistance in Mesopatamia should end in a victory for Argentina just before the other battle ends. This will mean that Argentina will remain on the map, if only by the skin of their teeth. There is also a resistance war against Peru, in which Argentina holds a 1-0 lead over Peru.

Argentina barely surviving

Europe
Massive wins for TERRA in Europe. The first was in France, where the nation finally returned to the map. The region was Aquitaine, and not only does it return French Sovereignty, but it means that Hungary lost it’s border with North America. France used this huge win as a launching off point, and they have opened a resistance war in Alsace, where the French are holding a 4-1 lead over the Hungarians.
Germany won in Bavaria, and gained their second region. This was a highly contested battle, and took heavy tanking from both sides, although TERRA did win in the end. More importantly, this win devastates the Hungarian economy, as it severs their land bridge with the rest of their holdings (although, to be fair, so did the losses of North Carolina and Aquitaine). The Germans will likely try and continue their success against Hungary, and open up another Resistance War.
Hungary also lost the region of Burgenland. This is an Austrian region, and the small European nation was able to secure the win against their much stronger neighbor.
Portugal and Mexico continued their long standing war, with Mexico attacking Norte. Mexico will likely win this battle, and leave Portugal with only Madeira and Algarve. Will see if the Mexicans can continue their success.

Middle East
FYROM will likely wipe out Egypt this evening. The battle for Western Desert is currently 4-0 in favor of FYROM. Although there is a Resistance War in Red Sea Coast, FYROM holds a 1-0 lead, and this battle will not end before the Western Desert falls.
Cyrpus held on to their regions that were under threat of Resistance war by Egypt and Saudi Arabia. But now, Sinai has been attacked by the FYROM. This battle is fresh, and still at a 0-0 tie. This is a decisive battle in this war, as a loss by Cyprus will likely give FYROM complete dominance over the Middle East.

Asia
In China, TERRA scored a massive win against Hungary, as they won the region of Jiangsu. This is another loss for Hungary, on a day when they already lost much. The Chinese tried to capitalize on this momentum, and opened a Resistance War in Anhui. It is looking like their momentum will be stopped cold, as Hungary leads this resistance war 5-1.
China will also lose another region, as Guizhou will fall to a Serbian attack very soon. This will leave the freshly liberated region of Jiangsu, and Chongqing as the only remaining Chinese regions. These may fall tomorrow, especially with the likely failed Resistance Wars in Anhui and Tibet. Either the Serbians or Poles may attack Congqing, and it would be up to Hungary to recapture Jiangsu.

Overall Analysis
Hungary took massive losses, and for no real reason it seems. They were not involved in any major attack, so it is not as if their damage was focused elsewhere. With France, Germany, Austria, USA, and China winning huge battles against Hungary, this is the best day that TERRA and EDEN have had in a long long time. It will be interesting to see where the two alliances go from here. Was this a fluke? Or is this a sign that ONE isn’t coordinating damage as well as they were? Time will tell, as it usually does. However, I would lean more towards this being a series of coincidences, than ONE collapsing.
But, coincidence or not, this was a great day for TERRA and EDEN, and they should have an excellent night of trolling, and celebrating.

I’m running for Congress! I will bring the same dedication there, that I do to reporting. But I need your vote! Message me, and I will tell you how you can help me!
