Day 2 - More Losses for EDEN/TERRA

Day 2:

North America
The United States lost Virgina yesterday, getting completely dominated 8-1. With the Spanish attack on Kentucky, it looks as if they are making a dedicated effort to reach Illinois. Initially, I believed that Spain would also try and reach Missouri, to secure Cattle, the only other resource they do not possess. But, Mexico beat them to it. Opening up a battle in Missouri after routing the American forces in Oklahoma. This comes as a surprising move, considering that securing the Grain in Arkansas makes more sense economically for Mexico, and would also leave Cattle for the Mexican ally, Spain. By attempting to take Missouri, Mexico is blocking Spain from having easy access to Cattle. Spain could go through Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota, and then have the entire Midwest (and all the cattle) available to them, but that is much more complicated. It is possible that America just caught a break, but we shouldn't be too hasty.

South America
After the failed Brazilian attack on Adalucia, Spain countered with an attack on the Canary Islands. As it stands now, Brazil is making no attempt to defend the region, losing 5-0. Brazil has seen minimal success when attempting to invade the Spanish mainland, but has thus far been able to successfully defend their own home regions. Time will tell if Spain can manage to fight two major wars at the same time.

Western Europe
The final two French regions came under attack late last night, and in roughly three hours, the French can expect to be homeless. It is unfortunate what has happened to the French, but they occupy a very hostile region, especially with an occupied Germany. TERRA can offer no real resistance in that region of the world, as the alliances Super Powers are located half a world away, and embroiled in their own conflict.

Overall Analysis
With the occupation of France, we could see Poland make an attempt on the UK. Sweden is also a possibility, but they just left EDEN, and are probably leaning towards joining ONE, unfortunately.
More than likely, we will see Poland throw their weight behind Spain, and Mexico, and try and push ONE's advantage there.
