Congress Again...

I would like to join Congress…
Recently, I have been reading the forums (after they came back up) and noticed that our congress people were spending a huge amount of time discussing a topic that most eAmericans would not find important. This is not to say that the exploits of Pfeiffer and DMV3 are not worth further scrutiny, does it need to become such a time suck?

Instead of name calling and personal attacks, our finest and most experienced players need to decide how we can move our country forward. However, I understand how personal animus and emotions can cause rancor among even the best of people. For this reason I would like to see a committee of respected players created to help deal with issues that have to do with blacklisting a player. This would not include offenses that occurred while a sitting member of congress or as a president. Instead, if an eAmerican is accused of traitorous activity they should face a group of their peers. This committee would be comprised of members each of the Top Five parties, each chosen by the party as they see fit. Hopefully, keeping sitting congress people out of the situation would keep politics out of the situation or at least to a minimum.

I know that other important issues exist right now, and that more will arise during the next month. I promise to do my best to be open to new ideas presented by WTP members and then take those ideas to Congress. If we are to try to get eRep to grow again we need to make all players, new and old, feel as though it is an experience worth sharing.
