This is the avatar of the former Commanding Officer of the 1st Division, eUS Army: redbirdusa. I was the Executive Officer for many months, and over that span, I got to know him pretty well. He was my most favorite person within the Army, and some one that I have an immense amount of respect for. He is uncompromising in his morals, and loyal until the end. Known as RB, or birdy to his friends, he is a shining example of the JCS.

I did everything I could to push his patience. Not intentionally, of course. But, during our time together he had every reason, and right to get pissed with me. But it was always his steady hand, guiding me, and the Division as a whole. On numerous occasions, redbird brought me back from the brink, as I was ready to quit the Army. He could of just let me go, but he didn’t. That is something that I am truly grateful for. Believe it or not, the best times I’ve had in eRep came in the Army.


I can honestly say, that redbirdusa was the best officer in the entire Army. And I am happy and proud that I got to work with him for so many months.

I would like to offer a final salute to redbird, and send him my warmest congratulations, as he retires from the 1st Division, and steps into his new roll as Army Ranger. I have every confidence in the world, that he will continue to represent the Army, and America the way that we should be represented.
