Coffee and cigarettes - with Ronisu

Day 1,716, 09:19 Published in Ireland Ireland by Kurdt Fradenburg

Fancy borderline:

Hello eIreland, today we're chatting with Ronisu

So, you DO like coffee?
Its called coffee and cigarettes after all.
no prejudice tho.

I do like coffee, but I drink mine black, none of that diluting, just give me coffee.

oh boy, without sugar?
No sugar, 😃

...
What you do in spare time, except eRepublik? or do you consider eRepublik as an obligation of some sort?
I definitely consider eRepublik an obligation as I hold positions, but it is also a labor of love. I have been in eIreland since 2008 afterall. But as to what I do in my spare time, I enjoy playing strategy games, discussing history, religion and politics, I write a blog analyzing global political trends.... I'm starting to ramble

You plan on quitting the game in future or will you pass your profile to your grandchildren?
I don't plan on quitting anytime soon. I have been involved in online geopolitical simulations since some of the early ones around 1994 or 1995. Even with a history like that, I'm only 25, so I don't forsee needing to pass it to grandchildren anytime soon.

Would be interesting to see their reaction
'oh hey kids you are gods of war now hehe 😮ld man cough: ,dies'
yeah...

God of War *********************************

Oh they will be proud
Are you studying something related to history and geopolitics?
Yes, I am always a student of the Humanities. I have studies History and Politics extensively throughout college, but recently I have started working on an idea for a web-based business, and spend most of my days pouring over law. I would rather ramble about politics, but it doesn't really bring the money, especially not now.

You are a rl american, is it possible to be a successful politician without possessing 5 companies?
It is certainly possible, but difficult to be sure. I do hope to one day be involved in politics, and have worked with several campaigns in the United States. I have considered running for the House of Representatives in my area, and do have a degree of support, but I am cautious about jumping out there. I live my life full of possibilities though,🙂

Sounds good, wish you good luck in that.
Ofc if you get to be a big head, I'm counting on a green card.
I can see what I can do, not quite as simple as eRepublik immigration, 😉

I've been trying to get an american CS for weeks now..
'Take 15. Hello, would you please accept me starting to think its easier to get a rl USA cs than in here'.

Cant be bothered to write reasons anymore, sure they learned it by heart.
I've never tried, always been in Ireland, so only seen our immigration system, 🙂

Which could be functioning better, are there any plans in the Dail regarding that one?
There have been numerous discussions on the troubles of immigration in the Dail. This month on the CC agenda I have added a question for consideration. Basically it is for the formation of a Committee on Immigration. One member has volunteered to collect and categorize statistics on people who get citizenship...
...I believe this will allow us to better know who comes into the country, from where they come, and if they become permanent citizens or just drift around. Also, this individual has volunteered to contact people when they leave to ask why they have decided to leave eIreland. Perhaps we can build a better society with that feedback.

Wish you success in that, 'wild immigration' can be a big issue in a country with small population like ours.

Of course all of this is pending Dail Discussion and Vote, and the details will become more concrete and I'll write some Congressional Articles on the topic as that happens,🙂

Favorite book, movie ,song? -back to the 5th grade
Hmmm...
I hate boiling culture down to favorites, but I'll try...
Book: Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn , just gave myself away as a Star Wars nerd

Nothing wrong about that :3
Movie: The Profesional (Leon), Reno is an excellent actor
Its a great movie, one of my own fav's
Song....I love so many...I have a very eclectic taste in music. We'll go with, well not really a song, but music: Lux Aeterna (Requiem for a Dream)

So, nearing the end, what are your plans for future in eIreland?
Regardless of what happens in the elections in a few days, I hope to promote discussion and debate throughout our country. The strength of our Republic is only as strong as the discourse within it. I know that sounds like a political tagline, but I believe it. I am confident that we have a...
bright future ahead of us, and while new people join and old friends leave, eIreland remains.

I did have a tidbit I thought I might share with you, that might surprise a lot of people

Bring it on

If you look at my newspaper, you'll see a large gap. I really don't speak for years, well there is a reason for that. I have a condition that is best described as "writing anxiety" it makes me very nervous to type things and put it out there for view. I am really combating that of late with eRepublik and my Blog. Regardless, with a few exceptions...
....my ideas have been greeted largely with praise or constructive criticism. I wanted to thank the community of eIreland for actually being of great help as I step out of what I have struggled with for about 5-6 years.
I hope I haven't been too wordy, 😃
Though I know I have, 😃

I need words to write the article man! I need words lol
I would've never guessed that you had problems with writing , your latest articles were truly good to read
especially in this sort of climate where people are just writing down without doing much thinking.
Well thank you, I was an aspiring writer before my anxiety. The brain is such a curious thing.

Some are yet to find that out.
Well, I did mean the brain was a curious thing as I went from a writer to someone who couldn't write, without much easily identifiable cause, silly brain, ;P
I do hope more people join the discussion as times go on, it is sometimes tough, and the community a bit intimidating, but it is good to speak your mind, it is sometimes tough, and the community a bit intimidating, but it is good to speak your mind, 🙂

Well, things are chaning ,more people are looking for transparency and that is sure a good thing.
I believe so

To wrap this one up, link me a picture that would best describe you now.
Me as? There are so many facets...

You as you, first picture that comes in your mind
Geez Kurt, you save the hard questions for last,😛

Sneaky, sneaky

I don't know.... this is really abstract for me before I've had my second cup of coffee...

Thats why sugar should be in coffee!
Nooooooo

Such a waste...
I could put dancing scary animals gif instead?
Found it

Well, on that note, thank you for doing the interview and I'm glad you really enjoyed it so much.
These kinds of questions have always blown my mind, like "what animal are you"

What animal are you?
sorry mate..

😛

bye..
o/

There we go, I hope you liked it as much as I did
