Charlie highlights some new player programs

Day 2,154, 19:15 Published in USA USA by The Wild Card

Hey guys. Today I've got some good and bad things I'd like to highlight. They are all new player programs, and before I start I want to point out I may have fallen through a crack, but that's why I'm writing this. Its my experience.

#1 on my list is USWP's Brains for Zombies. While I don't understand the zombie theme, it's an outstanding program that gets food and weapons in the hands of young players. There's an aspect missing where they should include a short message to the player saying "Fight Here" but outside of that I have 0 complaints about the program.

Before someone flames the comment section like a HuffPo article, I'm unsure if other parties run similar programs and if they are better or worse than the USWPs program. I joined the USWP on day one and have received helpful guidance from their members. So other parties, if you have programs like this, good job! If not, newbies, come to the USWP, they have cookies and guns.

Also on the good side of the ledger is Flight Training. Holy shit have they been great for me. BeeBeeBee, Torrin, and Synesi are the bomb diggity. I'm going to graduate tomorrow, and its their work that has kept me playing this game. That's no joke. Kudos to Flight Training!

Now for some Charlie work. There are 2 programs that have been thoroughly disappointing. And they are national programs that should be helping EVERYONE, not just members of their Military Unit or political party.

By far, I've been most disappointed by Meals on Wheels. Apparently the US had a really successful program where you post a sexy picture on the forum, and you get food and guns. Everyday someone would be named a winner and you'd get a bonus. That died due to a lack of funding (fair enough) but Meals on Wheels was apparently allowed to survive. I've requested food from them EVERYDAY and you know what I've gotten? Bubkis. Zilch. Nada. Seriously this is the ideal program to point new players to and it's published and talked about in every new player guide from the US. I can understand if one day I slipped through the cracks, but to go 4 days without even a message is horribly disappointing.

Bank Up to Strength Up was said to be one of these awesome programs that gets gold to new players so they can continue to maximize their strength potential. I have applied 3 days in a row, and have not seen a red cent. My gold reserves are desperately low as a new player and I would like to continue to maximize my strength training. Get your act together BU2SU...

EDIT: So I re-read the BU2SU stuff. I misunderstood it, but I think it would be super helpful if they decided to message you when you first apply with some helpful tips and stuff.

Lastly I want to thank everyone who voted, commented and subscribed to my last article. I especially liked that a few of you added me as a friend! Please continue to add me if you didn't and tell me how you like my articles.

Now if you excuse me, the college girls who live above me are having a party and Frank and I need to show up in our underwear.
