Join the new world

TARIJA, Bolivia-- There have been some major changes in Bolivia in the past week or so. We had Congressional elections, ( I'm glad to say I won a seat ) we fought the first battle of a war, ( we won the battle, no treaty has been signed so be alert) and citizenship was given to us be the administrators of eRepublik. We also have new political parties to choose from.

The Congressional elections gave us a whole new Congress to help rebuild Bolivia after the PTO and theft of our treasury. Unfortunately much of the congress resigned to help fight in the war that was thrust upon us by our neighbor to the south. Hopefully the remainder of the congress can return to the important work before us with the help of Bolivian concerned citizens.

The war which we are involved in was a last minute land grab by the nation of Chile. We were in the process of joining AHA which is the alliance of South American nations. With Bolivia being the last chance for military action Chile decided to go for it. It wasn't as easy as they thought. Bolivia repulsed the attack with the aid of several nations. Brazil, Turkey, Slovenia and Poland came to our aid. We should thank these countries for their help and remember it. Without them things could have been different. Our membership to AHA was defeated. Some members of AHA said it was due to our alliances with non South American nations or non PEACE members but we were not allies with these nations before the war, only after we were attacked. Their reasoning doesn't hold water.

Citizenship is now part of the game. Hopefully this will keep us from reliving the events of the first elections were all our money was stolen by people who came in at the last second and won seats in Congress.

We have new political parties to choose from. This should be a good thing because it will give more people a chance to participate in the political system. They may not have found a fit before with only three choices and maybe now they will. I wish good luck to all the new parties and the old and lets keep working together to build a new and better Bolivia with a joining of all ideas. No one idea is more important or better than all the others. Only by combining our strengths and hard work can we be strong and grow.

Lastly, we have Presidential elections in a few days. I don't know who will win, (I don't think all the candidates have shown up yet) but I will work with whoever does for the better of Bolivia and us all. I call on every other Bolivian to do the same.

Don't be afraid to speak up. Ask questions. You only get answers by asking and there are no stupid questions. Intelligent people ask questions not stupid ones. That's how they became intelligent.

TARIJA, Bolivia - Se han producido algunos cambios importantes en Bolivia en la última semana más o menos. Hemos tenido elecciones del Congreso, (me complace decir que obtuvo el escaño) hemos luchado la primera batalla de una guerra, (que ganó la batalla, ningún tratado se ha firmado por lo que debe de alerta) y la ciudadanía se dio a nosotros ser los administradores de eRepublik. También tenemos nuevos partidos políticos para elegir.

El Congreso de las elecciones nos dio un nuevo Congreso de Bolivia para ayudar a reconstruir después de la toma de fuerza y el robo de nuestra tesorería. Lamentablemente la mayor parte del Congreso para ayudar a combatir la renunció en la guerra que se nos empuje a nuestro vecino del sur. Esperemos que el resto del congreso puede volver a la importante labor que tenemos ante nosotros con la ayuda de los ciudadanos bolivianos.

La guerra que estamos involucrados en un último minuto por tierras de la nación de Chile. Estábamos en el proceso de adhesión a AHA, que es la alianza de naciones sudamericanas. Con Bolivia es la última oportunidad para la acción militar Chile decidió ir por ella. No fue tan fácil como pensaban. Bolivia rechazaron el ataque con la ayuda de varias naciones. Brasil, Turquía, Eslovenia y Polonia vinieron en nuestra ayuda. Debemos agradecer a estos países por su ayuda y recordarla. Sin ellos las cosas podrían haber sido diferentes. Nuestra pertenencia a la AHA fue derrotado. Algunos miembros de la AHA dice que es debido a nuestras alianzas con terceros países sudamericanos o no miembros de PAZ, pero no fueron los aliados de estas naciones antes de la guerra, sólo después de que fueron atacados. Su razonamiento no tiene agua.

La ciudadanía es ahora parte del juego. Esperamos que esto nos de revivir los acontecimientos de las primeras elecciones fueron todo el dinero fue robado por personas que vinieron en la segunda y última obtuvieron escaños en el Congreso.

Tenemos nuevos partidos políticos para elegir. Esto debería ser una buena cosa, porque dará la oportunidad a más personas a participar en el sistema político. Puede que no han encontrado antes un ataque con sólo tres opciones y tal vez ahora lo harán. Deseo buena suerte a todos los nuevos partidos y de los antiguos y permite seguir trabajando juntos para construir un nuevo y mejor a Bolivia con una unión de todas las ideas. Una idea no es más importante o mejor que todos los demás. Sólo mediante la combinación de nuestros puntos fuertes y trabajo duro podemos ser fuertes y crecer.

Por último, tenemos las elecciones presidenciales en pocos días. No sé quién ganará, (no creo que todos los candidatos han demostrado hasta ahora) pero voy a trabajar con quien hace de la mejor de Bolivia y de todos nosotros. Hago un llamamiento a todos los demás bolivianos a hacer lo mismo.

No tenga miedo de hablar. Haga preguntas. Usted sólo obtener respuestas por preguntar y no hay preguntas tontas. La gente inteligente no hacer preguntas estúpidas queridos. Esa es la forma en que se convirtió inteligente.
