We have some developing and sad news to report.
(Update 1) Its been confirmed from multiple sources she has unfortunately passed away earlier this weekend. The cuase is yet unknowm.

Nickerball, a great great player who welcomed me with open arms when I first arrived in eSouth Africa has passed away in real life. She was a women full of wisdom and humor.
🙁. Thats all I know at this moment. I'll update you all as soon as I find out more info. My heart pours out to her family. May she rest in peace

This is terrible... Nickers was always a good sport when I was messing around and being a fool. She had a great sense of humor and from the beginning I could tell she was the mother of our little country. I'm sure her kindness went even further in her real life. I wish I had gotten to know her better. My condolences to her family and RL friends. She will be missed, but not forgotten.

I was taken back when I read this. Truly bummed out. Mama Nickers was always the peacemaker in South Africa until her health and wanting to spend more time with family removed her from our little online world.
My condolences to Yesteryear, Mulderpf, and LiquidIce and all her other family members during this trying time. Knowing how many people she affected in an online community of people she never met IRL, I can only imagine how much she changed the people around her on a daily basis.

R.I.P Nickers, Condolences to family Mulderpf , Liquidice and Yesteryear. It was a huge shock to learn of her passing this weekend. She was a fabulous woman and like a mom to me. I will miss her greatly. May she live on in our spirit and actions.
