ADP - CP elections nearing...

G'day Aussies,

Well as you have seen Plato strikes again. Entire candidates from some top 5 parties have been removed from parties senate list, we were lucky that two candidates noticed and put their names down. The removal was because apparently Australia lost the region in which you were residing in when you put your name down to enter the senate candidacy list.

Of course under the old system of election this made sense as candidates represented regions and you voted for the candidate, then they changed it so you voted for the party instead, which is why this stinks of laziness for not updating this rule. So some excellent candidates have now been removed and we will be operating with a shell of a senate for the following month.

On a personal note the Australian Democratic Party would like to offer our sympathies to all our removed candidates, those from other parties who were looking to make a difference...and especially the APP party who lost every single one.

Now, on September 5th we will go to the ballot to elect a new President of Australia for the coming month. We will need an active and eager President and i urge anyone who is considering running to contact us immediately so we can enter you in the Australian Democratic Party ballot. Do not delay as it is vital that if you want to run that you do so in the next few days.

I won't wish parties good luck with today's election as that is futile given today's circumstances.

On a personal note i hope someone does step forward for the CP race because the main candidate has already been impeached for inactivity once before and has not been active in the last few months. What also concerns me is that it is someone who openly campaigned for people to leave this game just a few months ago to join a rival game...the game mechanics haven't changed in eRep so yeah...i think Aus is on a knife edge.

That is a personal opinion and not a party one.

If you had been around well before this time you would know that it is out of character for Cal.
The small issue he had at that time should not be the only thing that is bought forward, he has done a great deal right for eAus and has been there in the past through some rough times.

I agree he has a black mark on his name but I can say now if he puts an article together that has sufficient reasoning of where he can take eAus he will have my vote.

Only if he can completely satisfy me that is, I am still not entirely impressed of his actions over the last few months
