Join the new world

The eUS is already a strong force in the eWorld. We have driven back our enemies, we have built a large and strong country, and we continue to fight the good fight.

But that does not mean we can't be better. No, there is always work to be done. A Perfect Union can become a More Perfect Union.

And that is why I, a member of the Bastards of Liberty, have announced my candidacy under the AMP banner.





Transparency

That is the name of the game. And yes, it has been said by many folks over time, and probably sounds more like a cliche than anything else. But it is one of the most important principles of the Bastards and the single biggest reason I am proud to be one of them.

Government for the people, by the people. But for it to truly be by the people, it must be open. Less of the ruling should happen behind closed doors--or what at least to the average player feels like closed doors. The acts of Congress must be more accessible--and as a result the actions of Congressmen must be more accountable. More discourse needs to happen in the public square where not just the Congressmen but the average citizen can make their voice heard in a true and meaningful way.

And elected officials must make a more concerted effort to keeping the general populus informed. We need more publicity for Congressional actions, and a true sense that it is not the select few crafting policy for the country, but the country as a whole.

This is my aim. This is what I will work towards. And it is a goal well worth the fight, for it will make this country stronger and create A More Perfect Union.
