Well one year of E-Republik, what can I say what a journey, what a game, what a rollercoaster ride. In my view most definitely one of the best and most interesting games I have played (second only after the old Company of Heroes of course). I want to thank you all for playing with me and making it interesting. Every time we have gone through an inactive period the game and the community seems to re-invent itself and make it interesting again.
Highlights over the last year, well let’s see:


1) It pretty much started with an epic battle against Poland, all the odds stacked against us we won our freedom. (and I was personally responsible for one point, in the good old days when D1 was only for beginners).
2) The Show me the Money enquiry into government financial affairs gave Weekstom some grey hairs.
3) Fleeing out of Europe to Canada, and then renting regions which were bigger than the Polish empire at that stage, and then getting kicked out back to Europe.
4) The fall of de Ruyter presidential dominance.
5) The fall of Two, the all dominating alliance and ally reshuffle.
6) The King Kordak mercenary scandal, paying mercenaries 100 000 of our well earned money is not a good idea.
7) The review of division meant I would have to wait 6 months before I could do meaning full damage again.
😎 A trip to help the USA in boring Baja x3.
9) The Northern cleansing war with Norway x2, showed we can cleanse their land but struggled to occupy it.
10) World cup competition was great, pity I did not win.
11) And then of course my great idea, the merger to create Revolution et Libertas.
12) And not to forget all those pre-congress election days spent trying to find people to join so Libertas could make congress. Once even recruiting the famous Norwegian spy saved us, of course we did not know it at the time.
13) Writing 90 articles in the year of course means I enjoy the media module best.



Wish list for the future:


1) More wars for Netherlands
2) Change of Rocket damage and quantity you can build and use per day.
3) Players should be able to have the choice to fight in divisions higher than they are in if they wish to.
4) Divisional point system should be reviewed to make lower divisions more important.
5) A luck element to be introduced when fighting to allow a lower strength person to do a lot of damage once in a while.
6) More Dutch articles to be written. (after all that’s why I chose the Netherlands)
7) The return of De Reyter to the Netherlands. (When he was in the Netherlands there was so much more to write about)
