A Different Party

There are many political parties in erepublik but many of them seem to only give the same reasons why the citizens should support them. A lot of Political parties seem to think that they are one of the few parties to stand for goals that are actually seemingly universally sought. Openly stated goals of parties such as standing for honesty, loyalty, equality, relaxed atmosphere and fairness is all good but they are also held by a majority of other parties. Most parties also declare that they are all for political openness, helping new players, creating a baby boom, and improving the economy. The population of eUK should already assume that the above stated goals should be supported by all of the parties.

Political Parties should have more definitive policies then just some goals which they are ambiguous about how they will achieve them.



Since this is mainly a military driven game I have created a military orientated party called Guardians of United Kingdom . Our party stands for all of the things that I listed in the first paragraph as most parties should. However we are more focused then other parties on the issue of MU's, supplies, and government expenditure.

As of now Guardians of United Kingdom wants the government to provide funding to all Military Units that request it. The MU's requesting funding would provide the government a detailed report of there supply system and current infrastructure. If funding is approved for the particular MU then the government should make sure that at least half of the money is spent/ saved for wrm companies or factory upgrades. Instead of MU supply personal asking the government to subsidies wrm that they have to buy off the market the government should instead give them money to grow there wrm production capacity. Granted this funding MU's for eventual self sufficiency will be a long process but we need to stop looking short term and spending a lot of the governments monthly revenue on mercenaries for one battle or for one time hand outs of weapons.

Our party wants the UK to act wiser on the international stage. We support our alliance with TWO but we do not take the alliance for granted and do not wish to be seen as a minor member of the alliance. The UK needs to elect leaders that will be a good representative with other countries. The current CP does not seem to be doing this. In the Azores debacle the CP dictated to Canada that they would allow UK access and then he seemingly got taken in by eCan CP's deception. The UK CP has made some mistakes and he seems eager to believe whatever other CP's tell him and this leads to uncomfortable situations for the UK. The UK then has to rely on TWO to come and save us. Our party wishes to position the UK more securely in the world stage. We also want our government to properly plan out its wars (if it feels a need to go to war) and to have thought of the repercussions of its actions so that it can be ready to counter them.

Along with other parties Guardians of United Kingdom also support mentoring programs or independent mentoring of new players so that they will grow to be fine additions to the country. Social interaction in this game is key for player retention and so new players should be be incorporated quickly into the community before they decide that the game is boring once they hit level 20 and then quit.
