A CALL TO ARMS
Lanthanide
SUSCRIBERS TO THIS NEWSPAPER: I CALL YOU TO ARMS IMMEDIATELY! IF YOU ARE FIGHTING IN MANITOBA OR WALES RIGHT NOW, I NEED YOU TO DROP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND FIGHT IN THE RESISTANCE WAR IN QUEBEC. THIS WAS NOT PART OF THE PLAN TO WIN IN CANADA, BUT WE NEED TO DO THIS.
1. If we lose the campaign in Manitoba, that's OK because we still have all our land.
2. If we lose the resistance war in Wales, that doesn't matter because that's land that we don't have.
UPDATE:
1. We won the campaign in Manitoba.
2. We won the campaign in Wales.
3. The campaign in Quebec is still ongoing, but we're winning it too.

We're actually better off letting them take back Quebec in a resistance war than letting them win a battle such as Manitoba. If they win against one of our attacks, they get to attack us at a time when most of the players in their timezone are online, whereas as long as we're successfully rolling forwards we get to attack at a time that's good for our players' timezones. If they take back Quebec, it's just a minor inconvenience as we can attack it and retake it later on.
Obviously it would be even better if we won all three battles though... 🙂
Great explanation. Even I am clueless about war mechanics, after 4 years of playing. 😛
I had never considered it as a matter of timezones! Good insight. However, we can now devote our energies to this resistance war, since Manitoba and Wales are both ours now.
Timezones are very important for military tactics 😃 Even is they win the RW we can gain it later but if they win the attack then they can rebound us in a point when we are weak. Some tactics for you 😃
