[UKPP] One Direction

Sadly for all you 1D fans out there...and I know there are many in the eUK (looks at Wayne) this article isn't about the 'English-Irish pop boy band based in London, consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson' this is about the direction of UKPP 'an eUK political party which could probably put together a boy band that would be better than One Direction'.



UKPP has dropped off the political radar in recent times and currently sits 6th in the eUK with only 52 members. Now you may ask why this party which used to hold the top spot in eUK politics has fallen so far and my answer to that is...stop asking me questions and let me finish the bloody article.

UKPP has suffered, like most parties, from people getting pissed off with the game. People are leaving that's just a fact we have to deal with and until 'eRepublik Labs' sort their game out it's going to keep happening. But UKPP's loss of members has been at a rate much quicker than the other top parties. For example TUP still has over 200 members. This may be because people are more likely to join the top party when they start the game and also because TUP is one of the oldest parties in the eUK. However, TUP has not had to deal with the number of PTO's that UKPP has had to deal with. The first was a 'friendly' PTO which came from within the eUK however the party lost many members during that month and many never returned. The second PTO has more recent (in fact just last month). This was a serious PTO from Serbian players in an attempt to grab power in the eUK. At the time UKPP was around 3rd/4th in the eUK but congress ATO measures meant members had to leave the party to stop the Serbians gaining congress seats. UKPP dropped the 6th in the rankings and has not recovered so far. Now I want to push UKPP back up that list.



How you ask? Again stop with the questions, sit down and listen for one minute. God damn it.

I propose that we change UKPP. Re-brand the party and change its direction from a party falling into non-existence to one pushing forward and growing. Together we can turn UKPP around and head in One Direction (see what I did there?). Want to be a part of this exciting movement? Join UKPP today. Competition Time

I strongly do believe that UKPP needs a fresh coat of paint. I'll offer a nice prize (probs some gold) to whoever can come up with a cool name for UKPP (maybe you can include a nice logo as well). I'm expecting some comic ones as well but some serious ideas would be nice too.



NB: This is an idea & UKPP is has not decided to re-brand. I have created this article to open up discussion and to promote UKPP.
