Citizens,
My thanks goes to all who cast a vote in Sunday's election and to all those who supported my message of a goal-orientated eUK. My thanks also goes to Huey for facilitating the handover.
I shall do my best to embrace ‘keeping it brief’ in this article, which offers some updates as to what we are doing.
Epics
Two epics have been arranged for today (Tuesday). One Air, and one Div 4.
Air Epic -
There has been a delay to the Air Epic with Mexico, this will happen tomorrow (Day 6,014) with times confirmed via the national feed.
Div 4 Epic - This will be in our TW with Turkey at around 12:00 erep time (20:00 in the UK). As above the confirmation of round number will be posted in the national feed.
We are already arranging further epics for the weeks ahead.
Epic rewards
Epic rewards will be available to those who help raise pre-epic damage. I.e. the damage required to turn the battle epic.
Every time an eUK citizen contributes 100 kills or more to building pre-epic damage they will earn a share in a 100k cc pot. At the end of the month it will be distributed amongst those shares. Contributing to multiple epics will mean multiple shares.
Fighting rewards
We have a new fixed-cost model to awards to implement. Due to a quirk in the calender there will be two instances of reward pay outs this term. One this week and one in four weeks time.
This week we will calculate the cc value of the entitlement under both the old program and the new one and pay out whatever is greater (in CC). This is to honour the fact fighters may have made decisions based on the old model over the past four weeks. The majority citizens will be eligible for more under the new approach. Citizens will be sent a statement showing them how they earned their rewards.
Action Plans
Cabinet members have been grouped up and given a few actions to begin working on straight off the bat.
MoD
Kills data capture for Rewards pay outs.
Consultation on T- battle guidelines.
Assist in designing Live-Fire exercises to reward MU coordination.
Administer Fighting Rewards, Pre-Epic Rewards and Live-Fire exercises.
MoFA
Scotland contingency planning.
Confirm donation locations.
Border review for TW partners.
Arrange weekly epic pipeline.
MoHA
Establish onboarding approach.
Plan Weekly entertainment/competitions.
Produce Immigration resources.
‘Infodrop’ planning.
MoF
Administer Citizen Dividend.
Conduct an international Tax positions survey.
Design and Publicise new-player-tax-return program.
Create funding pots for fighting rewards, pre-epic rewards, MM Trading and community incentives.
Updates will be given via the Ministry papers.
Battle Etiquette
A reminder that until any announcement to say otherwise the fighting guidelines (battle etiquette) announced last month still stands. The springbreak event is causing lots of unmanageable damage to fly around so please have a bit more patience for another week and we should see things smooth out by next week.

The MoD will be leading on simplifying our rules so watch out for an article about that, feel free to share any thoughts ahead of time here.

I would suggest several citizens from our TW "partners" are taking advantage of striking akmost ummediately in the air rounds dropping enough damage that the medal run "is theirs" and removing the opportunity from eUK players. Are you proposing to review this?
Yeah we can take a look at measure the scale of that problem, post-spring break we can definitely liaise with partner-governments to encourage the right kind of behaviour. I do feel having lots of rules won't help us much there which is where the simplification comes in.

Yeah the insane amount of extra energy during this event is hard to police
its been happening more and more, even before the event.
I don't anticipate our spanish MPP being renewed which may help, and we will make sure guidelines are understood on both sides of the Estonian MPP before recommending renewal
Prolly won't have enough resources for air epic as I dumped 1500k for Singapore this morning.
