[The] Community - Military Units

Day 2,489, 21:39 Published in Canada Canada by Mary Chan
tl;dr provided at the end of the article.

Last week, I have reached Citizen Level 69, my last level before arriving at the final division: Division 4.

In this game, numbers mean something: it takes 30 days to get a HW (Hard Worker) Medal, 250 strength to get a SS (Super Soldier) medal, the highest damage within your division to get the BH (Battle Hero) medal, a certain number of XP to gain a level, etc.

But, numbers can't embody the most meaningful part of this game, the aspect that keeps many of us playing: the community. There are amazing people around eCanada that are willing to help, offer support, give advice, joke around, have serious talks with, and everything in between. I'm grateful for this community, and I openly invite you to join us!

One in-game community aspect eRepublik game mechanics provide are Military Units (MU). The military module has the potential to foster and encourage communication and organization of groups of people. I'm happy to have been a part of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), The Crimson Order (TCO, formerly known as Crimson Canucks/CC or Bruck's Canucks/BC) and, currently, Captains of Industry (CoI).

Personally, in-game numbers don't mean as much to me as the community I'm involved with. And so, to give more meaning to upcoming division change, I will be leaving CoI for another prestigious eCanadian MU: Cordis Die.

Thank you, Captains of Industry for being a great Military Unit, always fighting for eCanada!
Special thanks to Wilhem Klink and Sally Willis for their work in Fight Nights, Regiment Captains and Commanders for putting up appropriate Daily Orders, commune managers for their resources and management of resources for the MU, and of course, thank you Goran Thrax for keeping CoI running as well as it has!
I'm likely to miss integral behind-the-scenes members who do not deserve any less recognition for their work; thank you too!

I'll see you on the battlefield!

- The eCanadian community is pretty good. eCan MUs are pretty good communities.
