[TD-Economy] Grain Import Tax

Dear Readers,
We are all happy that the Austrian economy is getting better everyday. As in RL, all economic improvements must be controlled by our government.
I am the GM of a grain company and I have to criticize that the grain market gets assumed from foreign companies.
For example, in the last 3 days the grain price went down from 0.25 ATS to 0.23 ATS, which is good for our food companies but if you look on the marketplace you can see that 8 from 10 companies are companies from other countries. These companies pull down the price and all the money goes out-of-state.
We should stick together and our local food companies should buy Austrian grain instead of the dumping grain from foreign countries.
Furthermore, the Austrian government should prepare a bill to raise the grain Import Tax.
In the following list there are all grain companies which support my concern. Moreover please vote and comment, so we can set a statement!

I support you and would like to add, that the food market looks similiar and could also use some protection.

I am GM of 2 food and 1 grain comp and partially support your idea. A few weeks ago, there were almost only austrian comps and the price of grain went from 0.16 to 0.34 in one day, influencing the food prices enormously. Also, we have by far the lowest salaries among our neighbours but the grain is just as expensive as abroad, meaning an absurd winspan for grain comps. If the grain price dropped, foreign comps couldnt compete and would have to stay away from our market. If they all suddenly stopped exporting to austria, the grain and food prices would explode while the salries would stay the same which would mean our citizen could no longer afford food but have to buy and maybe even work abroad, which would harm our economy. Thats why i say we should slowly work on an economy that can live independantly rather than just driving foreign GMs off.

ich denke der Grain preis sollte noch bis ca 0,18 oder darunter fallen um die gewinn spannen der Grain & Brot auf ca. gleiches niveau zu bringen - bei diesem Preis kann und wird die ausländische Wirtschaft nicht mithallten wollen/können
der Preis vom Q1 Brot is ca. von 2,6 auf 2 gefallen (im selben Zeitraum)

unter 0.18 ATS? ==> Ich bezahle zz. Top Löhne und passe sie immer an den Job Markt an! Bei einem Preis von 0.18 müsste ich zu sperren!

grobes beispiel
Arbeiter lvl 8 mit health 38 - units produced 123 *0,18 = 22,14 am Jobmarkt 18 gewinn 4 ATS min und das bei nem health 38 hackler
Arbeiter lvl 10 health 100 units prod. 283 *0,18 = 50,94 am Jobmarkt 28,11 gewinn 22ATS
Beispiele aus irgend einer österreichischen firma und jeweils ein extrem vom health aber wie man sieht kann man sogar bei einem wirklich schlechten mitarbeiter noch mit Jobmarkt mithalten und gewinn schreiben - mir is klar das man übern Jobmarkt zahlt aber bei bei einem guten arbeiter ist das auch kein prob.
4 ATS Gewinn pro Arbeiter (laut deinem Beispiel)? Um einem Firma zu gründen braucht man 40 Gold
Dann kommen noch die Taxes...da wäre es profitabler selbst zu Arbeiten und die Arbeitsplätze machen nun mal die Firmen!

40Gold zur gründung 20 sind sofort wieder verfügbar und der Rest is ja der gegenwert der Firmer 😉
die 4 ATS sind wie gesagt auf einen health 38 arbeiter gerechnet = die meisten arbeitgeber feuern so jemanden ander kürzen das gehalt unter den Jobmarket
0.20 per Grain is auch Okay aber bei 0,23 ist es einfach zu hoch für die Brot firmen (bzw nicht ausgeglichen)
daher meine meinung anpassung der Import Tax erst unter/bei 0,20 und in dieser preis region ist es wahrscheinlich nicht mehr nötig da eh keiner importiert
Ja mir war schon klar das dein Beispiel mit einem schlechten Arbeiter gemeint ist...Aber in der Praxis ist es so das wir nur Eintagsfliegen hier haben, die da sind bis ein RW oder ein Krieg vorbei ist und meist haben genau die so schlechte Health Werte.
Natürlich ist es berechtigt den Grain-Price mit dem des Food-Prices zu vergleichen. Aber wer garantiert dann dass auch die Food Preise runter gehen? Ich glaube dass sich dann einfach die Gewinnspanne auf den Foodmarket übertragen!
Mit einer Import Tax würde auch der Staat dazu verdienen und er wäre mehr Platz für Firmen die wiederrum Arbeitsplätze schaffen. Man muss dann auch beachten das die Währung darunter leidet sollte alles billiger werden!

i've allready called for that about a month ago...
Even with 0,2 ATS per grain you can easily make 1 Gold per day, if you gather a collection of good workers.
This are the profits (in Gold) for 50 Well workers, without any referal or CS bonus and grain price of 0,2 for Skills 4-11:

I'd consider this totally worst case, as most of you will have the 25% bonus because you have austrian CS, the workers are likely in a better condition and especially the higher Skill workers often have additional bonuses because of invited friends.
As you see there are good profits to be made.
